Thanks a lot, Graham! Great to hear your Ark Tamo™ key safe is in place and keeping things secure, great choice by the way. We’ll let our installer know they did a top job too — they’ll be chuffed! If you need anything down the line, you know where to find us. Here’s to keys staying safe and sound! 🔐👍
Strongly built with the ability to have long combination codes and to use the same digit multiple times. Mechanical, so no fear of battery running out.
Antwort von The Key Safe Company
Thanks a bunch, Ryan! You’ve summed up the ark Tamo perfectly — strong build, flexible codes, and the best part: it’s mechanical, so even if the battery powering the button lights runs out, the safe still works just fine. Plus, the illumination module can be replaced to keep those lights shining bright again. Mechanical reliability with a little extra convenience — what’s not to love? If you ever want to chat more about keeping your keys safe, we’re here. 🔐⚙️😊
We needed to be able to access a spare key easily and securely for ourselves, but also wanted to prepare for any future needs. The Ark Tamo was the best option we found - very secure but easy to operate. The ability to use any number multiple times in the pass code is good - more secure, and making it easy to choose a memorable combination. We like the internal key hooks (Why don't all key safes have these?) and the integral lighting. Fitting the safe was straightforward, though as it is heavy, probably a two-person task. We are very pleased that we chose this key safe.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review, Margaret! It’s great to hear the ark Tamo ticked all the boxes for you — we agree, those internal key hooks and built-in light are little touches that make a big difference (and yes… we often wonder why every key safe doesn’t have them too, we introduced them with the C500!). We’re glad you found the fitting straightforward — one of those ‘two cups of tea and a second pair of hands’ jobs! Delighted you’re pleased with your choice, and we really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review.
Very well made, tough and heavy key safe. It gives me great confidence it will keep my keys safe. Excellent delivery and customer service.

We bought the Tamo for a holiday cottage. The quality is fantastic and we were very impressed with it. It was the most expensive one we looked at (£116 from memory) but hopefully this will last for years.

Yes, it might be a little pricier than some, but as you guessed, it’s built to last and keep those keys safe for years to come. Wishing you hassle-free handovers and happy holidays ahead — thanks again for choosing us!

This safe looks the business, and I like the fuss-free operation of unlocking and locking. I assume it's tamper-proof and break-proof, as that's what I've paid for. Perceived quality is good.

Thanks for the brilliant review, Will!
We’re really pleased to hear the ark Tamo™ is delivering on looks and fuss-free operation. Your keys are in safe hands with this one! 🔐💪

An excellent key safe - clearly high quality and secure.

Thanks for a great review of our ark Tamo key safe Jeff.
You never know when a spare set of keys will come in handy and what better way to store them than in the best secure, police preferred key safe (of course we are biased).
Thank you for choosing us.

I recently bought one of the Tamo high security key safes. I wanted a top security one as the wife was unsure about the vulnerability/riskiness of leaving a house key 'outside'. (I had an administrative query and I was impressed how quickly and efficiently it was resolved by Jamie in customer services). I like the key safe and I can't imagine anyone being able to break into either by force or by guessing the code. The outcome is that it so I have just bought another one.
Antwort von The Key Safe Company
Hi Peter,
Thank you for this great review.
You and your wife are obviously very security conscious which is a good thing, as you say, this key safe is holding the key to your house so it needs to be secure and we are proud that our ark Tamo with it's high security rating and police preferred status is doing this job for you.
I raised kudos for Jamie so all the team know of your compliment, so pleased that he resolved the query to your satisfaction.
And of course the ultimate compliment is that you bought another one! Really appreciate your business and we are here for any further queries.

I like it and its very compact
Antwort von The Key Safe Company
Thanks ever so much for the kind words Susan! We’re chuffed to bits you like it — “very compact” is exactly what we were going for, so it’s lovely to hear that hit the mark.
Thank you for being part of our key safe community.
I bought the expensive model as it is larger and knew from an old original model it was not quite big enough. Not sure the extra cost is justified and wait and seenhow long the light lasts
Antwort von The Key Safe Company
Hi John,
Thank you for buying one of our most secure key safes, the ark Tamo. Glad that your keys fit inside it better than the previous model you had.
Of course we are biased and believe that the extra cost is justified and we hope that over time you will appreciate that too. After all, the ark Tamo has the highest security rating of any mechanical key safe exceeding that of most domestic front doors.
We did testing on the light module and the lights start to dim a little after about 11,000 activations but still work until around 13,000 - 15,000 activations. The key safe will still function without the lights and the lighting module can be replaced.
Thank you for taking the time to review our key safe.

This item is very strong and has very good instructions to set the code. I need it to enable entry if I need help in an emergency.

I bought this because we at getting old and are more likely to forget/misplace things, e.g.keys. It also gives us the ability to supply the code to others if needed.

A great product, very solid, multiple number press capability, illuminated numbers and internal light are a definite plus. Only slight niggle might be potential lack of weather sealing and not having simply user battery replacement for the light. If it has a rubber seal I would expect the front case would also not bang repeatedly against the back of the unit and sound through the wall, each time you press a digit.
Antwort von The Key Safe Company
Hi Karen,
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying the solid build, multiple number press functionality, and the illuminated features.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding weather sealing and not being able to replace the battery for the light (we can supply a new lighting module but agree, just replacing battery would be easier). We'll definitely consider your suggestions for future improvements as well as ways to reduce the sound when pressing buttons.
Really appreciate you taking the time to leave this comprehensive review, it will help us improve.
