If you're serious about security, and want to avoid a cheap option which can be opened in seconds with a jemmy, or hammer and screwdriver by any unscrupulous that spots it on their rounds - this is for you.

This is really well made, easy to put up, and comforting to have on the wall. It is plainly much more secure than the one we had on the wall before. Since it contains the key to the house, plainly it needs to be secure and the video of how easy it was to smash into the other one with a hammer and cold chisel was chilling.

This is an incredible. I’ve seen many key safes over the years, and this stands in a completely different league. The first thing that struck me was the weight when it arrived — it's properly engineered, solid piece of security hardware. Wow! Operation is straightforward and intuitive even my mum is impressed, and she's 91 ! If you want a keysafe that feels genuinely secure and well thought out, this is a serious piece of kit. It costs more than basic models, but in terms of strength, ease of use, and peace of mind, I feel it’s absolutely worth it.

Great Product, just what I required, something that is very secure, weatherproof and can hold a vehicle key and large remote fob. The safe is heavy to hold and feels like it would take considerable effort to break it open. The illuminated keys are good as access is required 24/7. I would recommend this keysafe.

Complicated to set the code but easy to install. Most importantly now I have keys in it I feel safe when I’m at home and feel that my home is when I’m not in. I’m waiting for an upgraded version (such as personal codes and date/time stamp - so I know who came in and when) but I’m very happy and would recommend the unit for a high level of security and the associated feelings that provides one with.

Great key safe, very heavy and robust. Operation is good and the backlight looks and works well. We purchased this instead of duplicating key as we felt it was a better solution providing access for whoever we shared the code with. We can always change the code to control future access as required without having to change the locks.

Initially I received a faulty key box but was replaced very quickly, but I had to get the faulty one cut open with an angle grinder as I couldn’t open it. New box is great though.

The keysafe is heavy and sturdy; it was easy to fit; when shown to the carers who are to use it, they confirmed it was a good quality keysafe and easy to use. This was good to hear and we were pleased we had purchased.

Very sturdy, but a bit pricey. Better than others on the market that restrict opening codes to unique digits within the code.

Prompt delivery and instructions were spot on. Only one thing I did different, I put a ring of silicone sealant round the holes but apart from that install and set up were easy, even for this idiot.

Item arrived quickly, but found that actually getting into the key safe to start, quite tricky. It took quite a few read ups of the booklet to understand how it works. Would not recommend an elderly person try and set up the item themselves - get someone younger to do it for you! Once set up, if you need to explain how it is used to a Care worker (who, more often than not do not clearly understand!), may prove difficult and remembering a 6-8 digit code may not be beneficial. If you want the safe to be used by a Care worker - you might wish to choose something less complicated. However, under normal circumstances the safe looks robust and we like the backlight at night.

We do often hear that many users, including some elderly customers, manage the set up and even installation themselves, but of course everyone’s experience is different, and it’s great advice to have a helping hand if needed.
When designing the ark Tamo™, we worked closely with care workers to include features they felt would make a real difference — like the illuminated buttons for use in low light and the ability to use a number more than once in the code. These updates were created specifically with carers in mind, as they use key safes every day and typically find them straightforward once set up.
The longer code suggestion is purely for added security — many people choose something memorable, such as a full date of birth, or simply repeat a 4-digit code to make it 8 digits.
