Keyboard Rich Challenge has widened my horizon and my view of the future and introduced me to the possibility of opening a new bookkeeping business. The course itself outlined step by step on how to pass Quickbooks online and get certified, how to advertise the business through Pro Advisor and Linked In, how to implement various marketing strategies to grow the business, etc. The most important thing that I received from Bill is the encouragement to step out there and overcome Fear! To know the WHY is so essential to stepping out there and to doing what must be done, one step at a time then, then, success is waiting at the doorstep!

I was looking for a job I could do at home on my own schedule. I watch my granddaughter on Tuesdays and couldn’t find a job that wasn’t food service, retail or manufacturing that allowed me to continue to do so. I was in the process of being discouraged by a number of remote job websites that showed no relevant opportunities when I saw the ad on Facebook. I didn’t know much about bookkeeping but decided to check it out. When I saw the cost, I said to myself “I can afford that.” There was a part of me that wondered if it was a scam or a bait and switch kind of thing. So, I signed up for the classes and attended all week. Boy am I glad I did. I’m not usually my own hype girl but after just one week, I feel confident that I can be a remote bookkeeper.
