My mother took Equity Release of £95,000 in 2005.
At present, the balance to repay is approx. £380,000 increasing by £20,000+ a year.
The property concerned is valued at approx £450,000
Given this outcome, she would never do it again. She feels upon her demise, there will be nothing left to leave her grandchildren.
