Just bought a new Kayak from Kayaks & Paddles. Great friendly service and advice from the staff. Reasonable prices, great quality and good warrantees. I previously bought a Kayak from them a few years ago which is the reason i returned to them for my upgrade.

This store is fantastic, featuring a team that's both welcoming and incredibly supportive. The product selection is outstanding, and the prices are competitive on a national level, which is fantastic. I definitely suggest checking it out. We'll certainly return for more gear!

My initial visit was fantastic, as they were the only UK shop with the kayak I desired, which was amazing. However, things started to unravel during the delivery phase. After emailing to check on my order's status, I was assured it would arrive the following day. Trusting this, I took a day off to wait for the courier's call, which never happened, leading to a wasted day. Almost a week has gone by, and the kayak is still absent. It seems I was misled by the staff member's email to brush me off. Having extensive experience in customer service, I can confidently say this is unprofessional. I doubt I'll be returning to this store in the near future.

Ivybridge store absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t have been a more positive experience. Definitely heading back there soon for more great outdoor gear

Needed a decent suction mount roller to get my kayak on top of my large pick-up truck single handed. Bought the Beluga Boat Roller from Kayaks & Paddles and it is excellent. Picture on their website is slightly different from delivered product but what I received is well constructed and has very strong suction. Well worth it and now really easy to load my boat on to my truck single handed.

We bought a new fleet of canoes here at Biblins Youth Campsite. Kayaks and Paddles were great to deal with. Clear and prompt communication. Competitive prices and great that Old Town Discovery canoes are available in the UK again. They were very flexible and knowledgeable, and outfitted the Novacraft Propectors to a custom plan at no extra cost. We are very happy with the canoes and I would definitely buy from them in the future.

Just popped in to view and get some advice. Spent 10 minutes in the shop, I was the only person, not approached by staff, one guy was behind the desk on a computer, another female staff member walked right past me and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Walked out without saying a word.
Poor customer service, not sure I’d go back.

If I could award ten stars rating I would! K&P store at Southampton, Totton ( Eddystone Rd) branch is brilliant. All the staff, in particular Conor & Henry were SO helpful & accommodating to me when purchasing my new Profish Reload kayak. Their knowledge and professionalism was only eclipsed by their kindness. It's a 1 hr drive for me but I won't use another kayak shop now. Henry (the manager) even stayed after the shop closed to fit some accessories for me & very kindly gave discount on them too.
As a 60 yr old bag buying her 1st " proper" fishing kayak I couldn't be more grateful to these young gentlemen. Absolute diamonds! Thanks guys.

I visited their store in Devon and the first time I was met with a lovely member of staff who was more than happy to walk me through what I needed and help me pick what was right for me.

When I went back a 2nd time to purchase a kayak I was met by a different member of staff where it instead felt like I was inconveniencing him somehow, like I was wasting his time by spending over £1000 in the store.

Their store in South Devon is fantastic and luckily since I've been back I've only ever been met by the first guy who is always extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable!

This Company were great from start to finish. Communication was extremely fast, Richard and Tom were both really helpful.
Purchasing and delivery were really smooth and we were happy with the products! Have saved for future purchasing!

I ordered a couple of Kayaks and paddles from their central website - which seems to be a collation of a bunch of more local stores - so whilst my order went down south I arranged for the items to be collected from their Manchester (actually Warrington!) store without any charge.

Was worried about supply issues with Covid / Brexit as recently stung very badly by a bike order that was delayed by 5 months. They suggested 1-2 weeks - sure enough the Kayaks were in just about on week 2.

Sadly paddles were a little delayed but rather than pay for postage / have a second trip to Warrington to collect we waited about another week and a half. No biggie.

Service throughout on the phone was really helpful, realistic and just what you want - these people KNOW their stuff. On arrival for pickup they are following strict Covid rules and the shop itself is not open. But on arrival our two kayaks were on stands in the open roller doorway of the warehouse ready to just put direct onto our car which was parked right outside. Chap was friendly and chatty.

Took them out on the water today for the first time and in great condition and had a wonderful day.

Terrible Company. As a key worker, I checked with a key worker site to see if there was anywhere that I could purchase two kayaks and additional equipment, and this company came up as giving key workers 10% discount. I, like all of my colleagues are very grateful to companies like this that show appreciation for the work that we all have to do. Just to be on the safe side, I telephoned this company to check, and could not believe the answer that I was given. Now, because they are so inundated with orders, they have suspended the 10% discount to key workers. If it wasn't for all of our hard work, they wouldn't have a business at all. Please support us and don't use this company or its sister companies.

Excellent initial experience, they were the only store in the UK that had the kayak I wanted in stock which was superb.
It was at the delivery stage this began to unwind, as when I emailed the shop to find out where my order was, I was told it was to be delivered the very next day. So I foolishly took the next day off to await contact from the courier for delivery that day. No contact was made and I wasted a day. And nearly a week later on from that, I've still not received my order. Clearly I was lied to by the person who emailed me in order to fob me off. Having worked in customer service most of my working life I can firmly say such a practice is unacceptable. Don't think I'll be doing business here again any time soon.
