There is a specific kind of trauma that comes with being told your life’s work is a "civil dispute."
I spent decades building a 401k. I was careful. I was disciplined. Then, I trusted this reputable-sounding firm to handle a crypto transition. They spoke about "long-term asset growth" and "security." They looked like the experts we are taught to trust.
But here is the truth nobody wants to admit: These firms operate with total impunity. I am out $400,000, and my retirement is gone. My communication with the firm is now a series of scripted, vague rejections.
The result? I am choosing between groceries and keeping the lights on.
The response? Silence from the firm and a "civil" label from the police.
This isn't just about money. It’s about the sheer amount of injustice we are forced to swallow as "ordinary" people. The police only deal with selected fraud. The rest of us are left to feed a mortgage monster we can’t afford, living in the shadow of a system that considers our ruin a low priority.
I was in a state of absolute despair, lashing out at everyone.
It is a mess. Then by some stroke of luck, I found = a'yRLP =. They are the only ones who can actually navigate this disaster. = a'yRLP = got the money back! They managed to retrieve every single penny when the authorities did nothing. I'm simply appalled that such scams are allowed to exist. It is ghastly.
