Excellent customer service when ordering in the shop (Stirling branch although I’ve also visited Coatbridge who were exactly the same!). Helpful on sourcing the stock from other stores, welcoming, friendly, and unbeatable prices. Could not have been easier to order our carpets today (and the two rugs which I couldn’t resist!). Would absolutely recommend and will be repeat customers for sure!

Also as a side note J&W do not fit carpets so any issues people have encountered re fitting are with companies who work independently and therefore should be reviewed separately. They may recommend/guide you to using suggested fitters but that’s up to you to do your own homework. I don’t like to see negative reviews against a decent company supplying, when they had nothing to do with the laying aspect.

Just bought a Hall carpet, underlay from the East Kilbride store. Staff were brilliant, service all round was excellent. Strongly recommend.

Just had carpets fitted by this company bedrooms(2) living room and hall,and what a complete mess they left behind,loose ends of carpets,fluff of carpets everywhere,took nearly two hours to lift and left Ouse all over common close,if you have any scruples at all steer well clear ,I for one will never use them again,or would ever recommend,this was the store in Darnley.

Ordered vinyl on line, got phone call later that day regarding delivery, came when they said,
Excellent service Dunfermline branch.
Competitive prices, didn't get it fitted as I did it myself.
Would definitely use them again.

We have had numerous problems with this company. There customer service is awful and attitude despicable. They are totally unprofessional and insist there mistakes are caused by the customer.
Could not fault the carpet fitter but he works independently from them.
Certainly if you want a smooth service do not go here. The store we dealt with was Perth.

Ordered a carpet online. Not heard anything about delivery in over a week. Customer service is shocking would not use again.

Left a living room carpet downstairs in the rain. Couldn't deliver it to my door which is 3 floors up. Myself and a small child cldnt move it. Appalling service

We are so happy with jw carpets and the standard of carpets we received. However, the carpet fitter Craig who works for them was shocking. He left us 5 weeks with no Carpet on the stairs and landing was disgusting rude and inappropriate with myself making comments about my looks. I would never ever recommend him as a carpet fitter. We have had to get our carpets redone by there other carpet fitter Bruce and Charlie who are phenomenal they have finished the whole house in a day and we couldn’t be more happy. We could not fault jw carpets especially Vincent for their help in regards to resolving our issues, our only fault was Craig.

Purchased carpet,vinyl and lvt flooring. Paid for them to be fitted by a fitter recommended by the store. Fitters did a rush job,causing all of the laid vinyl in each separate room to bubble. Not laid professionally and poorly/ragged sealant at the edges. Would not recommend and would not use again. Will need to spend more money to get it all replaced. So disappointing!

Just bought carpet and vinyl from the Dunfermline branch. Could not fault them in anyway. Delivered when they say it’s getting delivered and when Ralph (carpet fitter) was fitting it he noticed there was not enough for the stairs after there measurements.Ralph phoned the branch and 1 off the guys delivered what he asked for within 15mins. We will definitely purchase more carpets from JW carpets in the future and if anybody asks will be recommend them. Also will recommend Ralph for fitting . Top showroom and top carpet fitter

I had a we problem with The Uddingston shop I phoned the Wishaw branch to ask if they had a head office the man asked what was wrong I told him and he said would sort it and he did so it’s Wishaw next time very helpfull and to say thank you to the manager at the J and W carpets at the Wishaw shop excellent

After moving into my new house (considering it was my first), I had no idea where to go for carpets/vinyl and other carpet retailers where far too expensive. After finding JW carpets, I wouldn’t look elsewhere. They are super cheap and the quality of carpet and/or vinyl was amazing. Customer service was beyond five stars. The person I spoke with was always quick to help me and answer any questions I may have had, especially with no prior knowledge. Many thanks.

My carpet was delivered on a wet day and left outside not wrapped up sitting upright for all the rain to run right through. The delivery man was despicable in his attitude. Absolutely appalling service I won’t be using again. Always bought my carpets from this company but seems there online service is a joke

The actual shop itself was good, considering the pandemic, although they had a few samples out that had been discontinued..? It was more the carpet fitters that ruined my experience. He moaned the full time. My carpet has air bubbles, it has not been installed properly. He then asked me if I had been quoted a price for laying the carpet to which I said “£70”, he shook his head and grunted at me in disgust. £70 for not even one hours work is very reasonable I would say.

These guys where so nice, bent over backwards for us. Our dad was in hospital during covid (but not with covid).
We were given less than 48 hrs notice he was getting out and we needed a room done up for him. Phoned them on Tuesday evening the guys came out to measure up the next morning, lovely guys James and Declan advised them of the situation and within an hour we had a fitter booked and new flooring ordered to be fitted on the Thursday morning for him getting out that evening.

Over sold a carpet could have re carpeted the house with what was left shocking blamed it on not having a join so I reckon this cost me £100s of pounds in wastage then put it all out in the rain could not be used I have now had to go legal with them after they had the cheek to offer £80 Credit card claim in and now going to solicitor to take further I have used this company for a long time will never use again taking profit before customer service
