We recently had Sonya from Just Exotics visit our Animal Care Centre to deliver CPD training on conducting faecal sampling across our animal collection, and the session was outstanding.

The training was incredibly informative, practical, and delivered in a way that gave our team the confidence to carry out faecal testing in-house. This will not only improve the speed at which we can monitor the health of our animals but will also save the collection money by reducing our reliance on external laboratories and routine veterinary testing where appropriate.

Sonya's knowledge of exotic animal health is exceptional, and she took the time to answer all of our questions in detail, ensuring everyone understood both the techniques and the reasons behind them.

Beyond the training, Sonya has been instrumental in supporting the welfare of our animal collection. She is always approachable, happy to offer advice, and genuinely cares about achieving the best outcomes for the animals. Her expertise and willingness to help have been invaluable to our team.

Sonya gave us a fantastic day of Exotics CPD recently. She was flexible and able to tailor the day to cover particular topics vets and nurses requested, showed us some practical techniques on patients and provided useful advice on our set up, as well as providing lectures on specific procedures. She was great value for money and we hope we would happily have her back again!

Sonya is an excellent speaker, our team thoroughly enjoyed her Jam packed CPD about clinical care of reptiles and amphibians.

I have already overheard our staff using their new knowledge to advise the public when interacting with newts and they were so pleased they felt empowered by the CPD.

Such a great event with fantastic speakers making practicing exotic animal medicine in clinics easy and approachable. Everyone was very friendly and lots of opportunities for discussion and clear how to pictures of surgeries and practical tips and affordable recommendations for both vets starting out with exotics and those a bit more experienced.

Great speakers, and a good range of topics

Everyone was so lovely at the conference. I loved the variety of topics discussed and all the speakers were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. It was great way to meet other exotic vets and I learned a huge amount in just two days. I will be sure to take part in more events in future.

The people were great, the organisers were super and the speakers were really good at what they were doing.

Very enjoyable and informative day. The only slight issue was the poor acoustics in the hall made a couple of the speakers difficult to hear
