Otley delivering 5* service
I called into the Otley branch yesterday to order some acoustic panels and some other bits. The panels were very competitively priced and they’re of a very good standard. I have just had everything delivered this morning. The delivery driver (I think he was called Kryz) was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Really pleased, not only with the excellent quality and price but also with the excellent customer service :)

The delivery was very good and the…
The delivery was very good and the driver was very professional in lifting the delivery over my garden fence. The top soil however, was disappointing. It was bought to cover newly seeded lawns but the bag had lots of huge hard soil lumps that I had to break up with a shovel accompanied with lots of dead weeds that I didn’t ask for. I expected the top soil to be graded to make it suitable for top dressing and disappointed that it had so many hard lumps.

I ordered a brand-new recessed gas meter box from J T Atkinson & Sons Ltd, but it arrived damaged and in completely unacceptable condition.
After I complained, the company arranged for its Yeadon branch to deliver a replacement and collect the damaged item. When the replacement arrived, it was unboxed and in just as poor a condition—as though it had also been thrown around a warehouse.
I returned the original box and refused to accept the replacement. I am now forced to order from another supplier, causing further delays and inconvenience after arranging time off work and booking a builder for the installation.
Where is the quality control? Sending one damaged product is bad enough, but sending an equally poor replacement after a formal complaint is completely unacceptable.
I would give zero stars if the platform allowed it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
