I recently secured a new contract requiring public liability and indemnity insurance. Mario from Jove reached out to me, and I’m so glad he did! From our very first conversation, his expertise and professionalism shone through.

Mario took the time to thoroughly review my existing policy, ensuring it met all the requirements of my new contract. His deep knowledge of insurance specifics gave me complete confidence, and his clear explanations made everything easy to understand. Think Twice

Shocking bought goods in transit insurance last year over the telephone (when they ring you after you get a quote) paid via card over the phone as a one off purchase. No mention of auto renewal or paying again next year with the same card details.(I would never agree to this) But they managed to renew and get there money off the same card from the previous year even though I told them not to on there advanced email reminder of renewal you never agreed too cannot beat we shall do what we want activity. BIG WOW ON DATA POTECTION and another thing no contact phone number and the advanced warning of taking payment for a make believe subscription renewal email is a no reply email address so even after responding to all there other emails listed with a copy of there sent email saying do not take the money and you should not have kept my details they still took the money basically they do what they want and make it difficult as possible for you hoping you will give up. My advice would be DO NOT BOTHER and look elsewhere

To clarify, we do not store card or bank details ourselves — all payments are securely processed through Stripe, our regulated payment provider. When a policy is purchased, it is set to auto-renew to ensure continuous cover, and renewal reminders are sent in advance so you have the option to cancel before any payment is taken.

In your case, we appreciate you letting us know you wished to cancel, and we have already refunded you in full and confirmed that your policy has been closed.

Jove Takes the Stress Out of Staying Compliant

I was worried when employment laws changed last year, but Jove had my back. They automatically updated my employer liability policy and explained everything clearly. I didn’t have to lift a finger, which saved me so much hassle. Really appreciate how proactive they are. Definitely recommend them!

Over 3 months work lost

Registered to work as a delivery driver with shipley and Shipley has jove to validate the insurance.Submited my insurance on the 19/02/25.And the chase started.Sevral emails to ask for updates several times booked appointments so that I can get updates but no joy.Lost work for over 3 months while paying high price for insurance.I would not recommend to deal with jove.Just got confirmation of validation in the start of June2025.

Avoid this insurance company at any…

Avoid this insurance company at any cost.
You will never receive a response to any of your emails, and there's no one available to speak with on the phone. I'm not sure how this company is still in business. If you submit a claim, you won't receive any communication. It’s best to steer clear and find an insurance company that actually provides customer service.
The call schedule service on their website is not working at all.

- Our team responds to all customer emails sent to customers@jove.co, and we aim to do so promptly. If you haven't received a reply, it's possible our messages may have gone to your spam folder. We’d encourage you to check there.
- We are aware of an intermittent technical issue with our call scheduling tool, which is no longer active. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Jove - What a hopeless Company

What a hopeless Company. They are the contracted insurance review agent for Shiply.com, a very large transport and services hub. My longstanding account with Shiply is 'stuck' as my fully appropriate and valid insurance policies are 'under review' with Jove. As such, I cannot secure work from Shiply as the account is 'in suspension'. You cannot get any help on the phone from Jove, they do not answer calls or emails and fail to keep booked telephone appointments. Shiply should ditch them, they are useless and I would urge anyone to look elsewhere for professional insurance and 'goods in transit' policies. Avoid.

To improve the experience for drivers going forward, we’ve now streamlined all insurance validation communications through a dedicated email: validation@jove.co.

It’s also important to clarify that you are not a direct customer of Jove. We provide insurance validation services on behalf of Shiply to ensure that submitted insurance documents meet the necessary standards.

We can confirm that your insurance has been successfully validated by Jove. However, please note that Shiply carries out additional checks, such as ID verification and manual account reviews, which are entirely handled by their team. Jove has no control over these internal decisions or processes.
