🚨 URGENT BUYER WARNING: Beware of "Jinan Kalechi Automotive Service Co., Ltd" on Alibaba! 🚨
I am sharing my recent disastrous experience to warn all international buyers—especially those importing electric vehicles (EVs)—about a highly deceptive supplier on Alibaba named Jinan Kalechi Automotive Service Co., Ltd.
Please read this carefully before doing any business with them, as their tactics are designed to trap your money and provide fake documentation.
Here is exactly how they operate:
Deceptive Company Profile: They present themselves as a well-established supplier, but their company page reveals they are merely a newly founded trading company (established in 2025) with a tiny staff of only 5 to 10 people. While they display a "5.0" rating, it is based on only 3 transactions, and a closer look reveals extremely suspicious and vague review patterns from unverified buyers.
Baiting with Low Prices: They lure buyers with aggressively cheap offers on popular EVs. During our chats, I requested a new 2024 electric car with a 400km CLTC range. They immediately baited me with a Toyota bZ4X for approximately 4,891 JOD and a Toyota bZ3 for around 4,324 JOD, as well as various Geely models.
Fabricated Customs Certificates (The Biggest Trap): I explicitly and repeatedly informed them that Jordanian customs legally mandate a "European Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA)" certificate for the car to be imported. Instead of being honest about not having it, they sent a completely worthless "Verification of Conformity" PDF issued by a third party (ICR). Even worse, the fake certificate absurdly listed their small 5-person trading company as the "Manufacturer" of an MG4 vehicle! They use these fake documents to trick buyers into paying, fully knowing the cars will be rejected at customs.
Severe Breach of Contract & Endless Delays: After securing the total payment of 8,165 JOD, the supplier completely ignored the agreed-upon shipping deadline. They held my money hostage and delayed the shipment for over 100 days without ever providing a legitimate logistics tracking number or proof of export.
The Resolution:
Fortunately, I refused to back down and escalated a formal dispute directly to Alibaba's resolution center. By providing extensive proof of their fake documents and failure to ship, I won the case entirely. Alibaba forced the supplier to process a full refund of my 8,165 JOD, along with an additional 21.3 JOD compensation voucher for the trouble.
My Advice to All Importers:
Never trust their PDFs: Always independently verify any CE or WVTA certificate directly with the issuing laboratory. Do not accept random "Conformity" papers.
Check the details: A company of 5 people founded in 2025 cannot be the "manufacturer" of a global EV brand.
Use Trade Assurance: Never pay a single Dinar outside of Alibaba's official protection system. It is the only reason I got my money back.
Stay safe, protect your investments, and absolutely AVOID Jinan Kalechi Automotive Service Co., Ltd!
