Okay until something goes wrong

Some time ago they gave us chicken as a gift. It had gone off but ok, it was free. Only pointing it out as it seems to be a theme.
Most recent order was very disappointing. Driver delivered to the wrong address. It happens but the customer service was shocking. I didn’t feel that they believed me. Finally after another hour the driver collected my food back from the address he delivered to and brought it back to me. I thought the food looked fine and I felt for him having to go back so I accepted it but messaged customer service as I had to dispose of an ice-cream that was melted (understandable after an hour). I was asked for proof! I couldn’t believe it. So after wasting 2 hours of my life and needing to provide proof that ice-cream melts, I canceled my account. You pay premium for convenience and my experience was the opposite of that. You can keep your vouchers and your business Jiffy…

Absolutely shockingly bad service. Placed an order at 18.18.was told my order would be delivered by 20.20. Long but ok, 20.50 comes, no delivery. Contacted customer service who were belligerent and unhelpful, just saying theres no couriers and you will get your delivery when one is available. I asked if the money had already been taken from my account. I was told it gets taken when you place the order and if i cancel i will have to wait for the refund to be processed. Pretty disgraceful when there are so many other grocery delivery services like gopuff and getir.

Hi Chelsea, I sincerely apologise for the delayed delivery today. We had received many orders simultaneously, and this caused a few delays. Any cancellation for orders will get automatically refunded. However, it usually takes 3 to 5 days for the funds to be reflected in the account. We are trying to improve our delivery service and do want customers to get the best experience. I hope you can give us another chance to show the best side of us.

Jiffy is a first-class delivery service…

Jiffy is a first-class delivery service that you can rely on for prompt, polite service. Their prices are comparable to buying the products from the supermarket and delivery is free when you spend a certain amount. Which in my opinion works based on the fact unless you live on the supermarket's doorstep, you have to pay for either public transport, diesel, or a cab. I will continue to use Jiffy when I need them, and they are a good service provider.

Absolutely the worst customer service.

Absolutely the worst customer service.
They delivered my order to the wrong house then once I made them aware they argued back and forth with me to then realise they were wrong and offer me a half price voucher!
Which I refused. Then they continued to argue with me.
Once they offered me a full refund they then said it will be with you in 3-5 working days.
It’s now been 10 days and still no refund.
I have children and money is tight right now and this is how they treat people who are in the right???
Never using them again

Cannot recommend.

Today was my first experience with Jiffy. Placed order at 13:10 order was ready for delivery at 13:21 for supposed delivery no later than13:48. Now more than an hour later still no delivery and as far as I can see it is still at the delivery centre. Eventually turned up after 2 hours. Not the minutes advertised. Cannot recommend.

Good service, made a complaint, they kept in touch with me, and gave a generous multiple discount, however Jiffy needs more variety, for example the juices and smoothies ...

Not worth using because of their customer service

I’ve used Jiffy regularly and have never had a problem, until I had to speak with their customer service.

My latest ordered arrived an hour and a half late, which was fine. It’s a one off, an inconvenience when I had plans but things happen. However, they delivered £13 worth of wrong items and this is where the problems started.

I asked for a refund of the items not delivered and they constantly refused even though it was their error. They offered £10 split across my next five orders. Not okay, that’s just getting more money for themselves instead of fixing my request for the items that were missing.

They offered to come collect the wrong items and only then offer a refund. That’s fine but raises so many questions about their produce. Would they resell it after it’s been sat in my house? And it is a huge inconvenience for just £13. Asking me to wait around all day instead of refunding the items that was due to their error.

Jiffy is fine until you need to use their customer service. It was terrible, raised so many questions about their practises, and downright rude.

There are a lot of competitors to Jiffy, use them instead. They obviously don’t value their customers.

Edit: As per their reply, they’re sticking to their story that they delivered the correct items which they did not. Untrustworthy company that doesn’t care about its customers. The team have even said it was a technical error with their bundles and that’s why the wrong products were delivered.

So sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Apologies for the delay but we delivered the items on your receipt. We have two vegan pizza bundles and it looks like you ordered the other one. Upon investigation there was no technical error on our side.

We would not be able to refund you without collecting the items as it is your mistake unfortunately. If we do collect the items you will be refunded, they would be quality checked and then most likely be given to charity.

I understand our Customer Care team could have recognised that it was no error on our part sooner, as that could have de-escalated the situation. So sorry for that.

But I would recommend you to remove this review as it's just misleading and incorrect.

I really like Jiffy

I really like Jiffy. I have compared them with others of the same type, and have found them to be completely honest with their products and prices.
Some double prices and offer discount. Thier site is straightforward and easy to navigate. It is great to have what you need delivered so quickly, usually 20 mins. Delivery is free if you spend a really small amount £15 I think maximum.
