Warning. Scam alert
Initially, we found Jay to be a very accomplished plumber when he fitted a small water softener for us. However, things were soon to change. We employed him to change a central heating pump and whilst here, to give us a quote for a possible leak in the attic. He informed us that the leak was serious and required immediate change of the water tank. We paid a deposit to have the job done as soon as possible, but notice that the pump that he fitted was of a lower grade. When confronted, he left in a huff, refusing to change the pump or return the deposit. This guy is a true scammer and con artist. He thought, because we are pensioners, that he could easily frighten us into doing a job that was not required. The leak turned out to be a faulty ball valve. Jay now has a CCJ to contend with and has even refused to accept that. He even uses his old address on all his paperwork which he has not lived at for 4 years. The people who live there now have had numerous bailiffs turn up. How low can one get to con elderly people. I suppose as low as Jay Besien.
