JD gyms in Wolverhampton is the best gym in Wolverhampton better than other gyms I’ve been to like Gym group Pure gym wolves south and Bentley bridge even foundry and energie fitness the facilities in JD gym wolves are quite good and decent and has saunas there even more JD gyms like West Brom Birmingham Oldbury Briely hill and Coventry are also Good to JD gyms train their the best Gym in the Uk by Far

Spoke to someone from the refund team again today after I got off the call with them yesterday where they said they could change my gym as I’m no longer able to go to the Wolverhampton gym and they’re now saying they cannot make the change due to the cancellation being put through and I cannot even upgrade from a place I can no longer use but they’re still okay to take out a payment without a refund!! WASTE OF YOUR MONEY other gyms have a better system in place! Advising all to seriously reconsider which gym you go to!!!

Yesterday when i entered in the gym i got entry very easily but i forget my sipper in my car and then i tried to re enter in the gym the qr not working and i am unable to enter in the gym .

We're really sorry that you were unable to gain access to the gym on this occasion, but please don't let that be your last visit...
Our gyms have barriers at the entrance which you can open using our contactless entry app. If you are unable to gain entry for whatever reason, there is a green button near the gates. Press that and it alerts a member of staff to your presence. Someone will come over to help.

Not enough machines
Not enough machines, if you have a sitter, it adds 20 minutes to your day. Also, not even close to enough collars for the weights, watched so many people risk injury to themselves and others because not enough of them to keep weights safely attached.

Not particularly happy
Never told at joining that sauna closed at 10pm. Never told that the main changing room locks at 12am leaving nothing but 1 disabled shower to use. What’s more, the main toilets are also closed but a SINGLE downstairs toilet is supposed to be opened at this time. I’ve been 3 times now and 2 of the times the downstairs toilet IS NOT OPEN after midnight leaving the gym in essence “breaking the law.” Furthermore, I have noticed that the cleaner that is supposed to be there locks himself away in the disabled shower/toilet and sits on the phone for half the night….! I don’t believe I will be staying a member for long (including my wife) as the one time the downstairs toilet was open, it was in a absolutely horrendous state!

Spin bikes not maintained
Wolverhampton gym. Three spin bikes not in a good state of repair. One: seat post wouldn’t lock. Two: resistance and display not working. Three: missing foot.
These are potentially dangerous. You need to check them more often.
No-one around to report them to, so what am I supposed to do?

Thanks for leaving us some feedback. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. If you can't see a member of staff, you can email the General Manager on wolverhampton@jdgyms.co.uk

Eurocarparks fines
First of all I'd like to say that this rating isn't for Jd gym Wolverhampton the gym itself is amazing, but my issue is with the carpark company eurocarparks... I will explain. I joined Jd gym In Wolverhampton on19/06/23 I wasn't told I had to input my registration in to the pad provided, i use to train late at night so there was no staff or clear signs inside the gym till recently. I ended up getting about 4 car park fines from Eurocarparks, I challenged the fines with the proof that was provided to me by the assistant manager (she was very helpful). After provided the evidence eurocarparks kept sending me fine reminder for one of the fines but the others were cleared. They have been harrasing me till this day and only recently they've sent me a letter from dcb legal to pay £170 or face further action. I have and will keep refusing to pay as I have showed clear proof that I was at the gym. If you could help me out further in this matter I would really appreciate it as I'm still a member at your gym and I wouldn't want to leave. Thank you

Information regarding parking at any of our clubs is available on the home page of the club, on the JD Gyms website. There is also signage in the gym, to make members aware of the parking procedures. There are certain gyms we have an affiliation with, but this is very few. If a fine is received at the gym, then we would suggest emailing the gym directly at wolverhampton@jdgyms.co.uk for further assistance.
Although it sounds as though they have helped as far as they re able to. Unfortunately we are unable to revoke parking fines. We can provide any evidence of your attendance at the gym though.
