Great equipments and gym environment looks very healthy.
Could have a 5 star experience if Sauna was available / working .
I joined because of the Sauna facility but the breakdown most of the time has been bad experience . I am sure this will be taken care of soon

Poor Maintenance neglected facilities
The equipment and accessibility is really good and you dont have to worry about not getting on stuff due to the volume of equipment.
However.. The maintenance throughout the entire facility is so so poor. Sauna’s is frequently out of order with no explanation. Machines consistently broken taking weeks to repair. The cleanliness of the changing rooms is really bad due to bins not getting emptied and showers not being cleaned. A company the size of JD should have maintenance staff on site. £30 is not close to being worth it. Pure greed.

Mobile phones and access arrangements
The use of mobile phones has become a disease at the gym. People sat on equipment just scrolling through their phone. The number of times I ‘ve had to tell people to not do it because I need to use it. It’s soooo annoying, you really need to sort it. Plus, once you get in you can’t leave and return, for example if you have to go to your car, which I have then had to summon staff to get back in.
, only to get the reply ‘well I think
I trust you but people use others codes’ for gods sake it’s like Fort Knox! Sometimes I don’t use my phone and yet it’s the only way to access it, how divisive, so if you don’t have a phone you can’t get in, can’t be right surely.

Gym advertised as it has sauna. When I joined there were few things ouy of order including sauna. I asked regulars how long for and found out it was already few weeks out of order.

Joined after going for a sneaky look.
Very clean and well maintained gym. Lovely staff. I only cane to see if it was what everyone said it was.i joined up before i left. There’s a few gyms in my area but as a budget gym this is the best by far.

Bad experience at this gym
I was a member on and off for so many years, it was overcrowded and even extremely busy at off peak times but I didn't mind too much. I always got on with it. However, someone went into my locker and stole my things a few months ago, I tried to go back but since have felt very unsafe in the changing rooms.
Expensive shoes that were a gift to me and I had to replace. The staff did the bare minimum and I didn't feel supported or helped.
Now when trying to cancel my membership it's made much more difficult then it has to be and a long period so they can squeeze another few payments out of you.

Generally ok but The showers need to be open longer for people who go after work later at night, been known to be closed at 22:00 when sometimes we don't go until then. the taps to wash your hands - hit and miss whether they work or not.

Hello - Thanks for leaving us some feedback, we appreciate it. We are a 24-hour gym in Doncaster, but due to there being less staff on duty throughout the night, areas which are not covered by CCTV are closed for the safety of our members (i.e. the main changing rooms and saunas). We do however leave the accessible changing room open at all times, as well as there being lockers for you to use. If you need to get changed or grab a shower during the night, that option is there for you, and you'll have complete privacy.

If sb gonna start workout after 10:30/11;00pm no shawer no sauna no changing room. few equipment such as leg extension, abdomen machine, seated hamstring machin doesn't work properly for long term but managers/staff are very nice and helpful

Our Doncaster gym is open 24hours and throughout the night, our accessible changing room is open should you need to get changed or grab a shower. We do close some areas (i.e the main changing rooms and saunas) for the safety of our members but our accessible facilities offer complete privacy!

No air con far to hot. Few broken machines not many cable accessories like tricep ropes and the one you do have is very tatty

Somebody needs to switch the air con on…
Somebody needs to switch the air con on because it’s far too warm in there to work out properly, I’ve never known a gym be as warm as this one, the heat hits you as you walk in & this is on cooler days too. My husband & I are seriously considering cancelling, which is a shame because we have found it to be a decent gym
