Great friendly and helpful staff, good equipment and a good monthly price

Great gym. Great staff. Only downfall is fellow users not putting weights away when finished

Whilst in the gym there is always a member of staff cleaning, which is very good to see
The only problem I am having is getting in and out through the coded barriers, they seem to take forever to work and had to reset my phone three times to get out yesterday.

I recently joined another gym because it was closer to my house but came back to JD Darlington within a month because you can’t top the cleanliness, tidyness and friendliness of this gym. Without a doubt the best I’ve found in the North east, and just got loads of new equipment even post refurb. We are regulars at Dan’s spin class and usually end up staying for the next class even though we don’t plan to! Hats off to all the staff here. Thank you!

Free joining fee was a good deal, shame it's limited time. Darlington JD GYM is spacious and well ventilated. Has good equipment and a good atmosphere 😃

First time at a gym. Abit nervous about going but the guy we asked to show us around was great put us at ease and answered all our questions.

Been member for years - recently new equipment added and also 24 hour access! The staff are always friendly and it is a fully kitted out gym. It’s impressive to see how many machines are in there. Can’t recommend this gym enough!

Loads of machines, plenty of space although the lockers seem to need some attention

Fantastic range of equipment & machines! I have been looking for the right right gym which is open pre-6AM and this one is perfect. Gym is quiet and free pick of most of the equipment

I’ve been to most gyms around Darlington and middlesbrough and jd gym darlington is hands down the best gym ever not only does it have the best equipment but the staff are all friendly and helpful

A couple of months ago I hadn’t been to the gym for a while. Trying to “get back into it” I thought I would start with a class called “JD Burn.” The nerves were real, but instantly melted seeing the smiley welcome of Margarita. She explained all what we were doing, gave alternatives if anyone needed it, remained attentive throughout to make sure no one would hurt themselves due to poor form and the best bit? We had fun and laughter. Now I’ve been back a few months I now look forward to JD Burn and Abs anytime I see Margarita taking class. The others are good too but the genuine enthusiasm she has makes this experience of training with Margarita awesome fun, even when you’re not feeling motivated.

I love the gym but do feel there should be more classes

The amount of space and the gym equipment

Gym is extremely busy now, appears gym is at maximum capacity and they still let people in. Extremely difficult to get a good workout.

Passing this off as "it's true our gyms are popular" isn't an excuse for marketing. I had to wait 40 minutes to use a machine today. What am I paying for?!

I was there for the first time and I not saw the signs where the exercise rooms are located, so that I could practice there on my own. I also don't know where Zumba classes are held, etc. I haven't seen any trainer I could ask about it either.
I also missed some equipment that I had in the previous gym and they were not here.

What I liked was that the gym was big and clean. The gym is also very nicely designed and well-chosen colors.

I love JD gym. Been going there for ages. Their fancies are amazing. I had to stop going for a little bit because of my injury but I made my come back and I’m loving it

Its a very well equipped gym with workout space for everyone even during peak hours
