Terrible cancellation policy. You cannot even cancel you have to submit a ticket for cancellation then you get an email saying someone will contact you in 10 working days to discuss it. Purposely trying to postpone it beyond DD payment date

I have been going here from opening and love the classes. I mostly go just for Gemma’s classes she is fab and like having your own PT, I always recommend her classes to anyone who asks about JD. Gemma is totally hands on and always making sure that you have the correct form etc. She gets to know you personally and what weight everyone can lift and making sure we’re continuing to push ourselves. Gemma is always in the back of your head when training on your own lol. Highly recommend Gemma and all of her classes, LBT, Pilates and Body tone are my fav!

JD Gym, Belfast has an amazing team, with Gemma standing out in particular. As my PT, she’s been incredible at helping me push beyond my limits and get closer to achieving my goals. Gemma has such a positive and motivating outlook on training and with her encouragement, she has made a huge difference to both my fitness and my enjoyment in the gym. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Pleasant trainer(Gemma), makes coming to the gym a delight. She challenges us in interesting ways thus helping us get results and have fun in class !

I have been going to the gym since it first opened 2 years ago.
The first classes I started were HIIT with Aaron. Because of Aaron I kept going to the gym. His classes were very intense but Aaron was fabulous eventually I had to give these classes up due to hip issues.
I moved to classes with Gemma. What a wonderful person and instructor. Gemma takes the time to ask people their names...she may confuse her knee and her ankle 😄but she will remember your name. She goes around the class and takes the time to adjust your form. I have been doing her classes for along time and she still corrects me. An asset to the gym.
I would also like to give a shout out to Katie, a newer instructor. If you are at a loose end on a Wednesday evening give her stretch and tone class or her LBT class a go

I recently joined JD classes. Gemma is my personal trainer. Never in my life have i felt so relieved when leaving the gym. I couldnt ask for better. Gemma is the best and i am gradually getting my desired shape. Biggup Gemma, and thank you for your patience, I always leave the gym a happiest person looking forward to more... to JD gyms thanks, u are the best

Ellie’s one of the nicest people in the gym so friendly so accommodating always willing to help and I highly recommend her as a personal trainer

I have did a number of training sessions with Gemma. I found her to be very professional and knowledgeable. She has very good people skills and makes the sessions interesting and different every session. I would highly recommend her to anyone that’s interested in PT sessions.

I attend Gemma’s classes 3 times a week and I must say I absolutely love them Gemma is so lovely & keeps you right with everything and always making sure your doing things correctly, I feel myself getting stronger everytime and that’s down to Gemma pushing me to be the best I can 💪🏻 everyone in our we class is so lovely we’re like a we family now,I always look forward to doing Gemma’s classes always good craic to which makes it fun x

Gemma is my personal trainer at JD.
I have been with her for 18 years and I have followed her through three gyms changes. She is a dedicated trainer who loves her job and this shows in her approach to training. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly the exercises and weight levels you are capable of. After every session I feel great both mentally and physically. I highly recommend her.
JD gym is a friendly welcoming place with a great atmosphere. The facilities are excellent and very clean. A positive and calming environment to train in.

Gemma is a great PT, and her classes are unreal. Gemma pushes everyone to their individual limits within classes. However as a PT Gemma is not just instructing, she’s teaching you safely how to train to your body’s needs in the best way for you. If you’re learning a new exercise and struggle Gemma will research and find new ways for you to learn safely before moving on to the next steps. She’s in tune with your body, she knows how to push you in an encouraging way. And offers much needed help and support with all aspects of your fitness and wellbeing journey! I attend Gemma’s classes she’s fantastic. I usually do Pilates and body tone twice a week. I have became a lot stronger I able to lift heavier weights it’s all down to Gemma encouraging me and helping me to do this. I wouldn’t be at the gym if Gemma wasn’t there she always make-sure that your doing the exercises correctly without an injury. Gemma also does 1-1 and massages would 100 percent recommend.

Excellent facilities, the pilates class with Gemma is excellent.
Have been attending her classes for over a year and she keeps me motivated to continue, with great personal assessments during the class, with a variation on each exercise every time. A very well motivated and dedicated instructor, would recommend to all abilities, well worth the monthly fee!

Love everything about the gym. The classes are brilliant and facility is always clean. Team are extremely helpful. I also personal train with Gemma who is absolutely fab. She always makes me feel so comfortable and fits my busy schedule in last minute. She has always kept me on track and is such a friendly face.

I started jd gym once it opened and can honestly say it’s the best gym I have been too. My favourite part of the gym is doing classes with Gemma! Gemma goes above and beyond for each and every person in the class to make sure they are completing the exercises safely and correctly. Gemma’s knowledge and expertise are second to none! She is so welcoming and motivating she’s the reason I’m in the gym!

Her classes are very well structured and she goes out of her way to make each individual person is comfortable, doing the exercises correctly and safe. Have been going to her class over 2 years. Would highly recommended her classes..

I do enjoy the gym and classes and with being busy in life it's great to catch up with the girls also the classes Lbt body tone and even pilates with Gemma I wouldn't say I'm a fan of pliates as it's very slow for me but she's very good at encouraging and supporting you on all exercises I've actually tried it more give it a chance I've even started treatments with her and safe to say 1st one saw a difference and classes with her work as some don't feel comfortable in a gym setting on there own or feel they didn't belong amd you meet everyone build on confidence and health improvements.

I have been training at this gym for a while now. The atmosphere is welcoming, the equipment well maintained and there is always a positive buzz around the place. A huge part of what keeps me motivated is my personal trainer. GEMMA Burns is absolutely fantastic. She is knowledgeable, encouraging, and knows exactly how to push me in the right way. Her sessions are challenging but always enjoyable. Gemma has a real talent for making every workout feel purposeful. I love the group classes, especially the ones she leads. She creates such a supportive environment that even the toughest classes feel fun.

I've been training with the wonderful Gemma for over a year and the patience, help and encouragement shown by her is 5 stars!! I would recommend this gym and Gemma as a pt!!
