I would give zero stars if I could. I received what I ordered, almost. The lantern art mushroom was about 1mm in size and dead on arrival, the purple monster was entirely white and dead, the hammer was upgraded to a double headed as I learned when I emailed to say it was all dead but as it was showing skeleton on arrival, it died within 48 hours. He also sent me an unnamed acro I didn’t order, again, to make up for the tiny spec of a lantern art, this was entirely white and dead. There was no heat pack to keep the corals warm so 24 hours out of warmth on a cold October day is probably why they were DOA. I emailed within an hour of me unpacking all of them to tell him this but he still declined a refund. Absolute waste of money, time and effort.

Terrible service. Cheap auctions but you'll get excuse after excuse about why he hasn't sent them. I waited a month for my items before I finally requested a refund. I know several people are having problems with him atm. Avoid at all costs

This was a waste of my time, this is not a serious business. Always an excuse. They never dispatched my order. Asked for full refund. AVOID AT ALL COST.

ordered a few times with few issues, a couple wrong items but wasnt really a big deal. placed a few orders at the end of Nov and start of Dec for them to be missing huge amounts of items, keep getting excuses when he will send them out but still nothing, requested a refund for the missing items on the 18th of Jan and was told itll e done this weekend past which yet again it hasnt. clearly doesnt want to keep customers happy from his mistakes.

I contacted Jon but had some email issues my side.

Sent a follow up email and got a response from Jon who was helpful and organised delivery of my corals for the following Wednesday.

A tracking number was provided on the Tuesday and the corals and live food arrived well packaged the next day.

Jon invited me to his auctions that are held on a Thursday and Sunday.

Not sure if that was a good idea, there are some bargains to be had and now I’m going to need to upgrade to a bigger tank if the auction results are anything to go by !

There are some mixed reviews on here for Jon and I did worry, but I am glad to have ordered and will continue to do so!

Ordered a veriety of Zoas. Good communication, well packaged with a heat pack and all received, labelled up safe and sound on speedy courier - recommended

Top service, would definitely recommend! I've made a few orders from these guys with no issues. Corals arrive healthy and happy and always well packed and Communication is great.

Placed order, never received. Contacted JBS at first said he was back logged. I later request a Royal Mail tracking number. He did not respond. I have since requested cancellation of my order and refund of money. No response. I paid via PayPal, so they are recovered my payment.
I would never use this company again. Unreliable and unresponsive. Surprised he has any positive feedback. Prospective buyers be aware.

This guy might not deliver what you order. You are gambling with your money. He doesn’t have everything in stock and will send you what he wants to send you. His website doesn’t reflect what he actually has. I never received everything I ordered. He does however reply to emails. Most zoas were tiny, sad and weak. Many died or came away from the frags. Many were nothing like the pictures. He sent more after I complained but I never received everything I ordered. I gave him about £100 and eventually ended up with a mixed bunch of zoas. Some good ones and various average ones. He could be much more truthful and remove items from the website when out of stock.

My order arrive 2 weeks later.
My order was wrong.
My two colour hammer was missing and give me other chip frags for free.
I resive 50% wrong corals
I'm not complaining I'm happy to get some coral after so much waiting.

Having had corals from JBS for four months I can truly say that they were misrepresented. I was sold a very expensive 'Hawaiian Punch' coral. It has not ever displayed characteristics of a 'Hawaiian Punch' and is clearly a cheap and similar 'Chilli Pepper' coral. While quick to respond to concerns by email, JBS actual practices are dubious.

Top seller. Purchased from many times. Always get what I ask for and sometimes a little extra too.
More than happy to help with advice especially when purchasing high end corals.

Can’t fault these people, we put in a small order this time to see what to expect and Jon has been in touch every step of the way very impressed

I came across this site when i got into the marine world and i can't folt it jon is such a brilliant guy very knowledgeable and helpful allways got back to me when he could and his corals are outstanding as i love having frags and watching them grow over time and on auction night's you can get some right bargains sometimes I have been buying from jon for nearly 3 years now and will continue to use jbs marine keep up the good work

I made a small purchase with this company due to the mixed reviews online and I am glad it was only a small purchase. The items ordered never arrived and it is difficult to get a response from the seller.

Finally got a response via Facebook messenger with a promise to resolve the issue. After a further 2 weeks and non arrival of the items that I ordered the seller is now ignoring my emails and messages.

I have requested a refund and have not received my money back. I will be reporting them to the trading standards authority.

Note to self: If 50% of the reviews are negative, don’t buy from the company.

Great service and healthy frags. Came a day late due to Royal mail. Thanks to the excellent packaging frags still warm and safe. Had excellent communication throughout transaction. Definitely use again well done.

Ordered the 16 piece zoa pack and completely wasted my time, I received duplicate frags (6 to be precise), the zoas seem to be struggling compared to ones I have bought elsewhere (but we could split hairs on that all day).

Jon was nothing but unhelpful and I’m bored of chasing him for a solution.

I wouldn’t advise using JBS Marines to anyone.

Corals arrived today, all healthy, plus one bonus coral. Heat pack was still warm. Very pleased with the corals, nice size, thank you. I have ordered from here in the past and had no issues, excellent communication.
