Inner edges worn to canvass after 22,000 Kms and it appears it is my fault, nothing to do with wheel alignment. No responsibility accepted on their part.

Brought my car in for suspected tire puncture. The store told me needed to have 2 rear tires changed "bald". Suspiciously I told the guy the tires were rotated a week ago by Bob James T mart. Told me they were ok. Guy smiled went on his way.

Puncture at 4PM on a Friday afternoon. Two new tyres and wheel alignment done at 4.30 - great service from the Brookvale store.

This review is about browns plain qld,have been going their for over 4 years (maybe )longer nothing but complete honesty have also taken the missus car,daughter car as nothing but complete honesty the only thing that is in falling apart is the waiting area yuk?and the toilets? Had four tyres fitted to my Mitsubishi ASX.
Somehow JAX staff managed to destroy my car key, it was severely bent, twisted and unusable without major straightening work. Possibly driven over not sure but a replacement cost me $299.95 from Mister Minit (have receipt).
Also I was told the front brake pads needed to be replaced because they were getting low. I found this puzzling as the front brakes had just been replaced just a few weeks prior and are like new.
All this plus black greasy marks left on drivers side door made for a very bad experience. Would not recommend.

Car went in for a full service at Ipswich West branch. Ended up with a quote for over $2500 in repairs. Took it to local mechanic for second opinion. Not even a fifth of the work needed to be done. Recently realised they DID NOT do an oil change and almost caused so much more damage to my car, my families main source of transport. Why? Because I didn't say yes to 2.5k worth of repairs? I've lost my confidence in this buisness. They most likely didn't do a service at all if they skipped an oil change. I will not be returning and I will be cautioning anyone who I know using that branch to think twice.

A part has now supposedly been replaced three times, twice under warranty. Each time I am left without a car for days as I live out of town. When I asked why this happened I was told - just bad luck. The second replacement lasted less than 70km. Now I'm wondering when the current part will fail.. and when I will again experience 'bad luck'. I hope I am not driving my 4WD on a winding country road or a motorway when the steering fails next time.

Reply; A thorough check? No check has been done by Jax. No contact at all. I was dismissed by staff there.
Mitsubishi have inspected the vehicle and found worrying issues. What is Jax going to do about this? Does the warranty apply to all of your outlets.. or only to the one I no longer have any confidence in? Still not happy.

Went to Jax North Lakes Saturday 17 August to ask about a certain make of rim for my wife's car to find out if they were still available or discontinued. The gentleman in the office took my particulars, said he would make inquiries & phone my wife on Monday. It's now Wednesday, still no phone call. Have a good mind to take my business else where. I stated that if these rims I inquired about are discontinued that I would be interested in others.

Jax rang today 22nd August spoke to my wife & were most helpful. Also apologized for taking so long to contact her. Thank you Jax.

Jax Tyres Bayswater North, Victoria provided excellent service since I bought my tyres there. Second time rotating and checking nitrogen pressure. Also, they inflated my bicycle tyres with nitrogen - fantastic.

Even cleaned my alloy wheels!

Very happy, annoyed I didn’t call thru first and save myself some mucking around.

DO NOT go here if you don't want your rims damaged. I told the receptionist, Sultan, that my wheels are worth a small fortune and I am extremely precious about them and was assured that the boys will take the best care of them.

One of them has clearly dropped an impact drill on my wheel and chipped the hell out of the powder-coating on one of my wheels. Since contacting them again they have flat-out refused to accept responsibility.

Happy to take my money then dog me when you mess up. Extremely upset and disappointed.

The crew at South Tweed Heads are so efficient, friendly and professional at what they do. I have no trouble at recommending their store to my friends and family. I am very happy.

Got 4 tyres for my Honda Civic. The guys at Jax Tyres Morrabin offered great quick service. They were happy to price match. So I got tyres for a good price and a wheel alignment in just over one hour. The coffee they offered while I was waiting for the car was great too. I would highly recommend them!

Decides best business practise to burn the cost to the customer for the internal failures.
Cant argue as they have your car for ransom.

This review is well a deserved pat on the back to the staff at JAX Tyres.I made contact with Bobby at the Slacks Creek store to purchase some tyres he did nothing but bend over backwards to help both myself and my wife make a decision on the best tyres for our vehicle a 1997 Toyota Camry.The tyres were fitted in no time at all.The mechanic at the time had mentioned about some other items that will need attention in the future and a quote was drawn up and the price was very reasonable hence we went ahead and had the repairs done that were needed.My wife had to deal with having the repairs done as I was due to have major surgery and she usually feels intimidated by doing these things but she was quite comfortable with the process.Now I am home and on the road to recovery knowing that the old girl has been looked after, it takes that little bit of added stress off our shoulders.Would I recommend Jax Tyres "absolutely" no hesitations at all.

Have been to Jax Launceston many times with different vehicles and they have always been excellent. Just one issue this time and that is I told the salesman to put the best of the old in the boot for a spare as the one in the boot is stuffed.Got home checked boot the old tyre still there . Now I will need to find another tyre and pay for it to be fitted when all they had to do was read the order that was given to them.
None the less I am happy with the 30 minutes it took to fit the tyres and the price. will give them a stir along when I take it back in for a wheel alignment next week. Just hope I get no flats in the mean time.

Your service is pathetic, 3 times in the last 6 months I've used you and you never keep to your promised time to complete the job I normally allow an hour or two over the time you state but the jobs are not done when I return. On Friday 26/4/19 I dropped 4 rims off to be fitted with Achilles tyres, the salesman said leave it with us for an hour and we will have them done and took my number and said he would call when they were done and to bring the car down and they would fit them. So no phone call Friday, went down Saturday and asked where my tyres were after a search around by sales staff I was told the tyres had not been fitted to the mags but the service men were doing them now would be 15 minutes, nearly 30 minutes later tyres/mags brought out and given to me, no offer to fit them as previously promised just here they are now go. The Saturday morning salesman was apologetic. When I got home I checked the tyres and found that Green Provato tyres had been fitted not the Achilles that I had asked for. I was aware that the Achilles were a good tyre for a budget tyre but I know nothing of the Provato and online reviews generally state that they are not a good tyre. Extremely happy with my new O.Z. Racing Leggenda lightweight wheels, wrapped in Bridgestone Adrenalins. Has totally changed my Ford Fiesta ST driving experience. Cars steering is lighter, ride is less harsh over potholes, acceleration and braking are quicker.
Painless finance with Openpay. Wheels were going to take four weeks for delivery, they had them in two. By this time the tyres I'd ordered were on sale, got one free. Oh, and a bonus air freshener!
