A recruitment consultant must always appear to be working for the candidate (to the candidate) and for the employer (to the employer). They deal with two fickle and jittery characters both of whom probably have many other irons in their fires. This means that the consultant might put in hours of hard work for zero recompense. So they often sound and give the impression of "Old Gil" (Simpsons Reference).

David is one of the few who seamlessly make you feel that you are the only candidate. He makes time to speak to you, to share insight, and to work hard to ready you both for the interview(s) and for the "reading between the lines" work as well. It is great to have someone to talk to and someone who was also happy to discuss other opportunities, with other consultants from other agencies. It is rare to get two offers in the same day and David helped me objectively to make a decision - the other agent in the pack actually did the same (and I have known him for at least eight years!). I feel confident that I have made the right decision and very happy to have met and worked with David.
