A return trip from Nairobi to Diani almost went smoothly however at check in at Diani Airport, we were told the lotions, colonge, conditioners,sunscreen we carried are liquid of 250ml and hence we needed to pay kesh 2,000 for check in. These were personal effects we were using during our trip (not even new so to say).

Our entire hand luggage weighed less than 10k which made me wonder if you are charging me money why give that option for 10kg free luggage.

What made this even more interesting is that while leaving Nairobi at JKIA, no one bothered us. We cleared the hand luggage just fine without any issues.

So why were we asked for kes 2,000 while leaving Diani.

Even more strange this is a domestic flight....i just don't get it.

Anyways this entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest.

Frankly quite disappointing to say the least 😞.

This an extortion scheme posturing like a low budget airline. zero customer service. I missed my flight due to delayed previous flight losing 1/4of 32Ksh for rebooking which did not suit me either and another 8ksh for cancelation. Now with only 50% value remaining rebooked for 30/07/2026 they could not check me in at 6.05am 25 minutes to depature. Jambojet works like a cartel out to extort customers for their hard earned cadh. I told them after refusing to check me in that i would never fly them again.

I missed my early flight that costed 8000ksh,i was not refunded i was forced to buy a mid morning flight 13970ksh. No disccount nothing. They dont offer even small water to clients and they charge alot. Skyward is better they offer snacks. Never flying with @jambojet.com ever again,period!
I ended up spending 25000ksh on this company without any kind of apology:(
