Been handling my deceased brothers estate for over 17 months. They still don't have the legal paperwork from the courts to progress ! !
This is a review that from our heart, Me and my wife started the process with great desire, like everyone else, and from the beginning they asked more than one year bank statements . I gave them all the account statements for over a year, starting with the £100 deposit in my wife's account, but there was no complaint there either. After a month, they sent an email to the seller's solicitor saying they needed a deed of variation. They also said that since the property we were looking to buy was under estate charges, you would have to pay this. We agreed and Later, they said that we would receive an email, awaited deed of variation, at first. At first, I was very surprised, but then it went on for 2 months, 3 months, and so on. By this time, our solicitor had already annoyed the sellers' solicitor and the management company's solicitor, because they were asking the same questions that were asked repeatedly, nothing else.
The above-mentioned management company started replying a while ago, and their solicitor said that this property does not require a deed of variation for sale. Thus, the verbal arguments continued. So, when everything was ready on our side, the company agreed to give us a deed of variation, and we also said that we would have to pay a fee in addition to the solicitor's fee, and we agreed to that too. After a few months, that is, 5 months, when we received the deed of variation, our solicitor said that this was not correct, that the required 21 day clause was not included in it and that it needed to be corrected. But the company management was not ready for that because they gave us this deed of variation after months of arguments.In the meantime, our solicitor had sent us all the required documents to their office. I then asked our solicitor, why did you not inform the company that the 21 day clause was required and mentioned in the proposal when you had been asking for so long (more than 5 months), but did not get a reply, so the mortgage offer expired, and then it was extended for 2 weeks,Since the last week, our solicitor had been calling me and my wife alternately. They and we clearly knew that nothing special would happen, because if they had said to include a 21 day clause in the proposal earlier, we could have completed our mortgage before it expired (6 months and 2 weeks). So on the last day, they asked us if we wanted to apply for the mortgage again and process it. We said no, for no other reason than that, even though they knew everything about us, something that had not been done in 6.5 months would still happen. If it happened now, they would need some other documents after that, and I didn't want to waste another year. No one I know is interested in referring them.
Anyway, they finally sent us a bill and we paid it.
I would recommend Jackson Lees as a company to anyone as all the staff were so helpful & polite with every call. Lisa was so helpful in arranging appointments & reassuring me about the process. Rebecca Zaidi-Lowe was amazing & explained everything so easily & again reassured me that everything would be finalised urgently & she did this. Jackson Lees were amazing.

I would just like to personally thank Tim Passmore (Liverpool City Centre) for his excellent advice ,support and recommendations he provided during my telephone appointment. Tim listened , was engaged and addressed each of my questions in a way that I could understand and offered practical advice to resolve or address my issues in an extremely complicated and complex case. I was extremely impressed with Tim and especially when he contacted me couple of weeks later after my "Where do I Stand" appointment for a follow up and to provide further advice and guidance. I felt Tim really did go above and beyond and that when no one else was listening he listened and cared. This was greatly appreciated. I wish I had been in the finiancial position to have taken Tim on as my allocated solicitor, however due to the complexity of the case and the predicted legal expense costs, I was unable to do this. However Tim pointed me in the right direction to enable me to apply for legal aid expenses through my inusrance company, which I was very grateful for. In future I will definite be using Jackson Lees for any legal needs and could not recommend them highly enough. Special thanks to Tim.

They went up against someone without a solicitor and still couldn’t submit a simple form. DO NOT waste your money on this scamming company.

After being put in touch with Jackson Lees by first4lawyers, I had a call from who I’m assuming is an apprentice stating that although theybelieve I have a claim, their specialist was unwilling to help. When I asked for a reason he said “Urm I don’t actually know” completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Will be finding a professional, capable firm to assist me further. It took a further 24 hours for them to get back to me with a reason, which they clearly had not done their research or read the notes. They stated that it was likely to have problems after the treatment I had received which is completely false. They are so rude and unprofessional - I would advise anyone to run the other way!

Poor service and very disappointed. Called at the Hoylake office and explained that I required conveyancing support. The pleasant receptionist took my details and a member of the team subsequently rang me to get more information on the property purchase I was making. A week later and I have not had any further calls from the company. Perhaps they don't need my business.

Thoughtful advice and service.
Excellent. The solicitor who dealt with us was careful to explain the implications of the will, and answer the questions we had. Also the ooffice staff had thoughtfully allocated a room that did not require going up a step, as my wife is in a wheelchair.

Communication throughout the process was lacking. Team members should be more proactive in addressing issues. Email responses were slow and not provided within a reasonable timeframe. While the manager's name was included in the documentation, there were no additional details on how to reach out or escalate any concerns. Ultimately, the case was transferred to another team member, who was able to complete it, but the experience could have been much smoother with better communication and clearer escalation pathways.
