Industry Rockstar Refund to Crypto scam
Be wary of any advice from Kane Minkus about crypto investing or promises of money back guarantees!
We paid $33,000 for Kane Minkus' Industry Rockstar ("ir") program, with the promise it would be refunded if we were not able to get what we needed out of the program. After concluding we did not have a suitable business idea to utilize the program on successfully, we asked for our money back. Kane convinced us to invest the money in his cryptocurrency investment, and that he would guide us at every step of the investment process. It has been nothing but a money-leaching nightmare since.
We requested investing only HALF of the refund be used in the investment with the rest returned to us directly. Kane "mistakenly" transferred the ENTIRE amount to his cryptoinvestment business. He persuaded us, however, to keep the entire amount invested in his company, which ALLEGEDLY then proceeded to increase by a factor of over 10 after a couple weeks. Using this seeming increase as support for his investment, Kane worked on trying to convince us to invest MORE MONEY (e.g. over 50K) to increase our return in the next investment round. We declined until we could see proof of any money actually returned to us. We have since faced round after round of new "fees" to get our money back. We asked for a fee schedule to show what these fees are and how much they should be, since it seemed at every turn, more mysterious sounding fees kept cropping up. Kane and his company completely ignored that request and insisted that we would need to pay another round of fee before they would share any fee schedule.
It appears Kane's crypto venture has been nothing more than a ploy to avoid returning our refund from Industry Rockstar and to sucker more money out of us. We are now in the process of putting together a complaint with various authorities now.
