IQ Hastags - what a terrible experience
I should have paid more attention to the other reviews on this website - this purchase was such a mistake on my end.
I would not recommend using IQ Hashtags. I tried to cancel the service within a few days of making my purchase as I knew this wasn't the right solution. The contract notes there is a 2 week period where you can cancel and receive a refund. The contract is written in a way that there are so many exceptions to getting a refund - rest assured you won't be getting a full refund.
Speaking of customer service, how they handle customers is interesting. It felt like the first approach was to ignore me. They just wouldn't respond. Then I get "we can't find your communication" even though the questions show in the chat history on their own system. I think they determined I wasn't going away and they finally engaged.
Beyond the extremely poor customer service, the service itself I found to be terrible. The hashtag analysis is 48 hours old and most of the data, while true at some point in time, it's never up-to-date. You scan the metrics and when you actually check one on Instagram, it's the service isn't even being close to being right. I saw this in other reviews and I thought "This won't apply to me..." wow - I was wrong.
I don't mean to be overly critical of this company, but I wanted to share the details of my experience. I would guess the the company would say something like "This is spelled out in our contract" and I couldn't argue with them. If you are in the EU and didn't look at the data, you probably would be fine. But there are companies that do right by people and behave in a way that is super respectful, and then there are others.
My experience with this company was so disappointing, I certainly would recommend them to any of my friends.

Purchased about 2,5 weeks ago. Basically nothing really works. Hashtag performance is since day 1 not working and shows this message at the top of the page:
"Sorry, we’re experiencing temporary issues with collecting hashtag performance data. Our technical team is currently improving this feature to serve you better. We appreciate your patience and we’ll be back with the Hashtag Performance running smoothly in the next few days."
It has been like this ever since the purchase, next issue is the user analysis...It is completely off. After i spoke with the support (they answered only after 4 days on my 1st complaint) the answer was:
"Audience data in IQ Hashtags is collected based on what they type into their profile over time. The data from Instagram is what users have entered at registration. This means that there may be slight differences :) "
Slight differences? To give an example, according to their program all my users are women 100% while in reality it is 76% according to my instagram statistics. So if they think it is a slight difference....maybe their boss can take 24% off the salaries and tell them it is a "slight difference". Since 4 days also the user analysis stopped working and nobody replied on my 2nd complaint no more asking a full refund.
if you plan to buy this...read the above and think before you buy, not worth the money at all. They do not provide you with ant usefull data you can not find yourself in the Instagram statistics.

Resolved my issue quickly
Ok I’m completely changing my review. I was initially very upset, and although I do believe there is room for communication improvements - now that my issue has been resolved I want to commend hashtagIQ on refunding me and honoring the fact that I hadn’t used the service. They gave me a full refund and quickly...which means a lot during everything going on right now. 5 stars!

They over charged me
Update: they should write they are charging in USD
They over charged me, did not stipulate the price was in USD... Then when I contacted them and showed my bank statement, they said (because there is a time difference and the dates of my use and subscription were different) that it was not the same charge. Even though the bank statement says IQhashtag... I have screenshots not sure if i can add them... they love to say on here it is some rival slamming them -- I am a marketing student from Aus. I have receipts. This is a scam and I hate the person that recommended this. Oh plus all the features are S*** could just do it myself in insta, its for lazy people.

Due to the mismatch of data (payment amount and time) visible in your IQ Hashtags account, we could not confirm that the screenshot represented a payment to our platform. Unfortunately, at this point we also do not know why you have been charged a higher amount, so we believe that there has been a problem on the side of the payment provider, which we will try to clarify quickly. We are currently trying to clarify the situation with the payment provider, who is responsible for the entire billing process and who shows a lower amount in the report to us about the customer's account than on the customer's bank statement. Doesn't worth the money
I've been using IQ Hashtag for a long time, and I was happy with the free version. One day I was wondering what the premium could grant for me. It was cyber Monday, so I thought I give it a try.
Out of all premium features, probably the Hashtag Performance feature is the only usable one. You can see roughly what hashtags you used were on the trending page (roughly because if it says that one of your hashtags is at the number one position, it's usually not).
Profile analysis is pretty useless. Why would you like to see what hashtags you use the most? If it was telling me the highest performing hashtags it would be helpful, but like this, it's not helpful. Other information can be accessed in Instagram Insights. The only helpful feature in Profile Analysis would be the Banned hashtags counter if you have any.
The final premium feature is Users analysis which doesn't show me any data, even after one month. Their support is pretty fast, but they can't change facts.
The bottom line is. IQHashtags is a great software, but it's more than enough in the free version. If you invest in the premium version, don't expect huge features that will help you manage your Instagram account. At least, not in the current state. I hope this is a great message for the developers, to make the application better for future customers.

We check the position of images globally, which means that we check the position of images visible to people who have not interacted with your profile yet (they have not reacted to your posts and have not seen your profile).
The position is refreshed every ~ 30 minutes, so the position is up to date for the time and date shown on the graph when you click on the selected hashtag. As far as we know, a lot of people don't look here, so I encourage you to check these tabs. 🙂
Positions are checked globally, so checking them from your own profile or from profiles that have already been in contact with your account does not allow for a reliable analysis and knowledge of the real positions of your image. 🙂
> Profile analysis
The popular hashtags, i.e. the ones you use most often, tell you what topics you assign your posts (not everyone knows what topics they assign their content to most often). Additionally, it tells you that you may want to give up on some hashtags and try to reach new people through other, industry-specific tags, as the ones that are most visible on the list have already been exploited.
The list of banned hashtags and their counter is visible at the top of Profile Analytics and allows you to go directly to the view of the photo where the banned hashtag was used in your profile.

The data in this tab may sometimes stutter and not display fully, as much depends on the size of the profile. If it is very small, there may not be enough data to display the charts and TOP lists. On the other hand, if there is a lot of data, the analysis and data collection time may increase. If you have any problems, please contact us so we can help you as soon as possible 🙂
> Premium (paid) version vs Free version
Free account:
In the free version, account data is not refreshed. The data is downloaded only once, when the profile is first added to the tool. In the free version of the account you can search for hashtags only 5 times (during the whole period - the limit is not renewable). In the free version, the user cannot track the position of his/her photos under the hashtags (in which positions in the TOP9 your photos appear). In the free version of the account in the tab Banned Hashtags, the user can not use the real-time check option, that is, check the hashtags "here and now". In the free version, the user cannot check who his active users are - how many comments and likes have been left on the user's profile by specific people. In the free version, the user does not have access to User (followers) Analysis.
Paid version:
In the paid version, the user can refresh their profile data (refresh time depends on the plan). In the paid version the user does not have a limit of hashtag searches. In the paid version, the user can check the position of his/her photos in the TOP9 hashtags (and find out which hashtags were the best for him/her). In the paid version, the user can check banned hashtags in real time. In the paid version, the user can check active users in their profile. In the paid version, the user has access to User (followers) Analysis.

I have been using this solution for a long time. I've managed to get a better understanding of how to build a profile on Instagram thanks to it. I have also learnt about many hashtags that I didn't know existed! I'm still learning Hashtag Performance, but I'm seeing better and better results in my profile, so I think I'm on the right track! :)

Payment is made via an external system, from where you can download your purchase confirmation and invoice at any time (also in your account settings). It should also be sent to your e-mail address.
By definition, a subscription is renewable, which means that you decide when you want to discontinue it. For example, definition: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/subscription
Information about automatic renewal can be found in the Terms & Conditions, Helpdesk and during the payment process. The next renewal dates are visible in the account settings. You can also cancel your subscription here.

You cannot delete your card details because we do not have them. :) All you have to do is terminate the subscription in the Account settings.

IQHASHTAGS IS A SCAM!
I only signed into the product once the first day I bought it. Realized I didn't need it and it couldn't deliver what I needed it to do. There was no further use of the product from that point forward as it wouldn't meet my needs and the product description was misleading. I requested a refund and filed a request for them to close my account. Yet they did everything in their power to rob me of my hard-earned money. Had to file a chargeback on fraud with my card.

Unfortunately, this opinion looks like an act of unfair competition, so we cannot respond to it.
Edit: In the first version (before Trustpilot moderation), the review was a pushy promotion of another, competing brand. It does not give us the feeling that it is an authentic opinion.
It is scam
It is scam, you cannot download invoice or payment informations, they take money on your account when they want. The tool is useless.

Your invoices are available for download in Account settings.
Your subscription, on the other hand, renews automatically according to the plan you have chosen. You can stop it at any time when you decide you no longer want to use the service.

Pro account is clearly misleading. It’s not much more than a basic account but you are allowed to change IG profiles. But then you don’t get any benefits as the analysis takes 48h and you don’t see previous posts analysis.
Worse, if you cancel your account, you loose what you have been paid for. This way, they are hoping to keep you and hoping you will forget to stop the service on time before renewal.
All in all, you have much better services for cheaper prices from less tricky companies.
They use all the old trick to keep clients from the less reputable companies.
Highly not recommended.

From what we have noticed, there is some incorrect information in this review and I will try to make it clear:

- in the PRO account you can add more profiles and analyze larger accounts,
- the data is refreshed every 24 hours, not 48 hours,
- user analysis is also available in the PRO and GROWHT plan - this tab allows you to find out the demographics of your followers,
"you don’t see previous posts analysis."
It is not possible to present data for photos and actions taken by you in the past (Hashtag Performance) because we are not able to determine what positions your photos have received in the past because this happened in the past before the account was analyzed by you. It is not physically possible for us to have data about your photos before your profile was added to the service. :)

Deleting an account deletes the entire account, so it is not possible to have an account and not have an account at the same time to keep the data.
