This happened to me, confirming the scam. The Walshes are pulling a fast one by posting what are most likely not real jobs on LinkedIn, then messaging applicants telling them to go to their website to "optimize" their resume. The message I got was from Jessica, but most Trustpilot reports for the site say theirs came from Connor, who is the owner of the site, which I won't mention. Even if IG and their "optimization" site were legit, it's absolutely messed up to prey on job seekers by paywalling a job, real or not, forcing them to pay for services they don't need and then ghosting them when they want their money back. It's all over the internet, take a look for yourself. A few minutes of research and you can find all you need to tell you NOT to pay, or trust, these people. Disgusting.

I was contacted on 4 different occasions by 2 different recruiters on LinkedIn, and every time I answer, they ghost me. The first time, I was contacted by a man, and second time, I was contacted by a woman, who triple texted me the same exact message. It feels like some automated/bot message:
Hi ***,
Thank you for your application for the *** position.
Please could you confirm whether you are still on the market?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Red Flags for "Intellect Group"

Multiple reports from job seekers across various platforms like Reddit and Trustpilot point to the following issues:

Fake Job Postings: The company is widely accused of posting non-existent jobs (especially remote, high-paying roles with "unlimited PTO") solely to harvest CVs and personal data.

Ghosting and Unsolicited Messages: Job seekers frequently report being ghosted after initial contact and repeatedly receiving unsolicited messages for jobs they didn't apply for, even after asking to be removed from contact lists.

Suspicious Business Practices: The registered UK company "Intellect Group Ltd" was dissolved in September 2025. Additionally, job seekers found that the physical addresses provided by recruiters did not exist or were not associated with the company

Fake job listings designed to generate leads for a career service. Avoid Connor W and Intellect Group at all cost.

This "company" creates job ads on pages like Linkedin, then writes to applicants to use their "client" website : careerhero. io to "improve" your ATS score, the website is for a paid membership even when you select the free version it requires you put your credit card info and you will be charge 20 USD a few days later. The whole thing is a scam. Message send: "Quick follow-up on your application
