After doing some research and a few calls we arranged an initial appointment with InstallSolar. I have to say they did not disappoint. Professional and friendly service, first class system, excellent value. Can’t fault them, top class from start to finish. Many thanks

We picked Install Solar after getting few quotes in. Well priced, great service from start to finish. Cant recommend them enough. We are very pleased with our system, and can’t thank install Solar enough for a brilliant service.

I was hesitant to use install solar because I had came across a few bad reviews but I felt after the conversation I had over the phone with a lovely polite man that I was willing to give them a chance, and I’m so glad I took that risk! He took the time to go into great detail with me on the solar panel system and any questions I had, he was also extremely knowledgable in this sector and the price was right! The men who came out to install the panels were very professional and everything went smooth from start to finish…fast forward to now 8 months down the line and I haven’t experienced a single problem! I can’t recommend this company enough 5 star from me! Thank you Install Solar

It started well. Installsolar installed my panels, invertor and battery system. Everything worked fine. After 6 months however the Fox SS battery failed. Install Solar said it was a "software" issue and the responsibility of Fox. However their relationship with Fox had broken down. A service engineer turned up to check the battery but said it could not be moved as it was a under Fox warranty (not theirs) and if it was moved would be invalid. So I am left with a dud battery. After 6 months of constant phone calls I am getting no where in trying to get a replacement battery from Installsolar. No customer follow up or service. I am £3000 out of pocket with no battery to store electricity just as the prices have gone through the roof. I can only recommend that you avoid this company. Perhaps you will be lucky and it will go well, but if it does not, and as other bad reviews attest, this company has the propensity to fail in its treatment of customers. They are happy to take your money but not to offer a follow up service when something goes wrong. Treat with caution.

Excellent service from start to finish, very knowledgeable, professional and helpful, would not hesitate to recommend based on my own personal experience, A+ service!

All round brilliant. Sales team were quick and informative as well as using terminology that your average joe would understand. The install team were great as well done all work to the highest standard, did not take more that 4hrs for all work to be completed. I have heard of other people having bad experiences with solar companies but this is the most hassle free company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with 10/10 for all the guys involved

Wow! The service from this company is second to none. Never have I been treated so kindly and appreciated by a service provider. From the management who were above and beyond with they’re help on installing my great grandfather’s , who is a war veteran, solar panels, to the installation team who were polite, neat and unobtrusive. Not a speck of dust or litter left anywhere. If I could have these boys round ma great granda shugs house every weekend, there’s be a a kettle simmering for them. It’s like the Ritz of solar panel installation. Grade A.

Like others, promising start with the sales person. We waited a good few months for an install date, then started to get delays on the date. Finally got installed at the end of January. Install team were awful.

They were rude, aggressive attitude, they left a mess behind them and despite raising this nobody seemed to care. They didn’t explain anything.

Eventually got someone to talk us through the app but I kept questioning it as it showed we were just constantly putting energy into the grid.

Three months later I got a smart meter installed and that’s when we had our suspicions confirmed. Finally managed to get a team back out and they confirmed that the panels hadn’t been wired properly.

Phoned the office, was promised a call back and didn’t get one. Phoned again and spoke to one very rude man. Blamed everything on COVID and still waiting. So am now raising a complaint with trading standards.

Great job. Absolutely overjoyed. I did my due diligence prior with a number of quotes and Install Solar was the obvious choice for me. Cannot recommend enough.

Admittedly I did have to wait a month for the installation but after the quality of the work I recieved I can see why the boys are so busy. Thanks a lot!

We were very impressed with the sales consultant and what they could offer and arranged a fitting date. We were told at the time the fitters wouldn't need scaffolding as they just used ladders. When the fitters arrived they couldn't start as they said they needed scaffolding. This delayed the start date by several days. The fitting went smoothly apart from additional electrical work. The original quote and agreement was to include a Solic 200. When the electrician came he said that wouldn't work and we would need to fit a timer instead. The electrician didn't fit the timer the day of the installation and was supposed to come back the following day, which he didn't.
He was also to repair the cover for the electricity box which he had damaged.
We arranged again for the electrician to come out and a different electrician did come but came with no equipment for the job or information about the job that was to be done.
We spoke to him at length about what was to be done and he said a timer would be of no use for our system and we would need a Solic 200 - as originally agreed.
We showed the electrician what needed to be done and showed him the water tank with the immersion heater.
He agreed to come back the following day with the Solic to complete the fitting - which he didn't. We arranged two more appointments and on both occasions wasted our time staying in for no shows. Still awaiting completion 5 weeks later.

Very bad experience.
Paid Sales a deposit for a storage battery system with an install date about three weeks later. Contacted Installations the day before for a start time to be told they had no knowledge of it. Then told that there were no batteries in stock with a supply time minimum of five months. Also had problems recovering my deposit.

Salesman was very professional.
He listened and understood what we wanted from a solar pv. Good advice and explanations given by him.
The system was installed by a couple of very hard working guys. They were courteous and extremely helpful. It's early days since install and system switch on and so far we are very impressed with the power the system is delivering to our home. Late March and it's providing all of the power (on fairly sunny days) with very little being imported from the grid. I had to chase them a bit to get an install date. Some improvement in their communications is needed. However everyone I spoke to did their best to help. Always returning calls when asked.
In summary. I have had a positive experience with Install Solar.

Rewriting this review. I would never recommend them to anyone. Ripped off my neighbours too and others where I live. Highly incompetent sales, installation and office staff. Paid for 10 years warranty on the inverter, only has five years, so stolen money. No point complaining to them as they won't do anything other than give excuses.

Not sure sales and installation on the same page. Chris and John were great and panels look very neat on roof. Paul did the electrics. Can't access system despite having paid still to receive details to register with Solis.
