My experience with Insightful Traits was terrible. They stole 60 Euros from me!!!

I signed up once with one email address. Somehow their system created two subscriptions at the same time. I even got two confirmation emails for the same email address. I thought it was just an error. It was not.

They charged me twice for the same trial over two months. Almost 60 euros gone for something I only signed up for once.

I paid via PayPal and opened a case. PayPal still decided in favor of the seller. So do not rely on buyer protection here.

I later checked Trustpilot and saw many similar negative reviews. This is not an isolated issue.

It's a SCAM!!! Stay away!

Solved a 10 minute test to see I must pay money to get the results.

Please stay away from this website as they are doing fraud.
Let me tell you why
1. They offer you free quiz, and after you spend a lot of time doing it they THEN show that you need to pay $1.5 or something like that. And they mention it is one time.
But no, it is a recurring payment they initialize automatically with your payment method and you might not recognize it right away unless you get a notification, I didn't with paypal, or atleast I don't remember noticing.

2. They charge you $29.95 after 14 days automatically. Basically their subscription is of 14 days. Who asks for $30 for 14 days for a one time service like a quiz? It is exorbitant.

3. There is no cancel subscription option on their website or your user account settings they provide. Nope, I'd attach a screenshot but I don't see an option to here but I just got charged $29.95 and I went to the website to get it cancelled but there was no option.
Infact they are even showing blatantly in the user settings page that you can buy 14 days premium recurring subscription at $29.95 and the billing section is empty.

Your only option is to immediately get it cancelled from your bank or payment provider. But one more reason why you should avoid sites like these or giving them your payment info. I'm saved by paypal immediately refunding me, I'd advice avoiding them and making sure not to provide any payment info to them.

Took 30 minutes of my day to finish the quiz only to be met with a paywall at the end. Wasted my time, would give zero stars if possible

Stay away. Waste your time doing the quiz. Then they want money after giving your email so you can't see the results and then the payments ramp up dramatically after the first month. Should clearly say it's a pay for result quiz upfront. It's manipulativ and underhanded making people sink time and then having a paywall Infront of results.

The questions are shallow, the subscription is useless, and it's a total scam, it labels tests as "free" when they're not which i think is false labeling and there are much better sites that deserve to pop up on the top, this one tho? Pure bullshit.

I HATE sites that trick you into a long survey, then force you to pay to share back. BRUTAL and unethical.

disgustingly capitalistic. no mention of having to pay until after creating the account, which was not mentioned either. waste of time, as you do not get results. also illegal, since false claims were made about this test being ‘free’. i will never appreciate using someone’s struggles to make money.

Scam alert. I happily paid the 99cents for the test results. I did not authorise the two future payments of $29.99. When I tried to log in to see what was going on it said I didn’t even have a log in - how is that possible? 😡😡😡😡

i spent 35 ,minutes on a test thinking it to be free but at the ned they asked for money to get the results. horrible scam.

This company is a bunch of crooks. You spend what you think is £2 for one test. Turns into a £30 a month subscription?! AVOID!

3. Oh no! you need to pay to get results.

I was anticipating a summary, and while Insightful Traits provided that, they also dug deeper. The ADHD and Enneagram tests worked well in combination and provided a better understanding of the interplay between motivation, focus, and stress for me. I learned more about myself rather than just receiving a set of scores.
