Poor quality and difficult returns
I felt like the fabric seemed poor quality and cheap. The white dress I received was basically see through.
Also the sizing seemed inconsistent to me. I ordered a set and a dress in my usual size and the dress was far too small while the set fit me correctly (though was not flattering so I still returned both).
Also, when I returned the items, the founder charged me a £15 cleaning fee for the shirt claiming there was deodorant marks on it, which I found quite expensive.

I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience and that the pieces weren’t right for you.
I was also genuinely surprised to read your comments regarding the fabric, as this is the first time we have received feedback of this nature. We are extremely particular about the fabrics we choose, and the feedback we have consistently received from customers has been around how beautiful the quality feels, especially at our price point. Of course, fabric preference can be subjective, and I’m sorry that in this instance it wasn’t what you were hoping for.
I also wanted to clarify the point regarding the £15 mentioned in your review. The top was checked before dispatch and sent in new, unmarked condition. When it was returned, there were visible white stains marked on the garment which remained after I attempted to remove them myself. Unfortunately, in that condition I was not able to put the garment straight back into stock and sell it to another customer as new.
We therefore discussed a £15 deduction from the refund to cover a professional stain-removal service. This was not an additional cleaning charge, and the deduction was agreed with you before the refund was processed. All of your other returned items were refunded in full.
As a small brand, I have a responsibility to make sure every customer receives a garment in the condition they would reasonably expect when purchasing something new, and I hope this provides some additional context.
