As soon as I was accepted for being given a FREE meter, I git a phone call to say it would be installed the following day!
The gas engineers came as promised before 7.30am
They began work straight away, each knew what he had to do. I asked them if they would like a drink, they said they'd rather work on.
They were amazing workmen. Totally committed. They finally finished the job (after cleaning any mess - even hosed down the outside). Each one gave me instructions on how to use the boiler
One man gave instruction on the hot water etc and the other pointed out how to use the heating.
I understood it all.
Couldn't have asked for better workmen from start to finish.
5 golden stars for them.

The boiler instalation process was well organised and efficiently and quickly completed, but the Google nest CH control remains difficult to operate despite advice.
All the staff that visited and installed were excellent, polite and friendly. They cleaned up after and checked in with me every step of the way.

The installers were helpful tidy. The office staff and those i dealt with in regards to appointments, survery, follow on questions when unsure of some queries with the system and info required regarding setting up the controls were helpful and patient.

Received letter from Improveasy which said could be entitled to home improvements. Did application via phone, had surveys in the house and told I was entitled to a free loft insulation, extractor fans and smart boiler. Then got given agreed date and all of the workmen turned up on same day and everything was installed. Super fast great work and all friendly people through out. Love my NEST smart boiler. Recommended :) P.S if anyone from Improveeasy read this the extraction fan outside requires resealing as there is a gap showing on the side of the fan on brickwork :) hopefully in the future I can get some new windows from Improveeasy as mine are so old and not efficient :

Appointments not kept, poor standard of installation, no manuals or instructions left.
You left my house with fire hazard by not fitting fire hoods over 5 downlighters, but told me you had. It was only rectified because an engineer came to put insulation on the boiler pipes and I asked him to check. Luckily for me, he had some in his van.

Over all a good service. 13 solar panel and a Hybrid airsource heatpump.
Panels produce way more power than we use 5.33kw system. Hybrid works really well doing the heating when temperatures are above 10c and the gas boiler does below 10c and hot water.
The design was not the best had to intervene and put forward my own solar orientation to get the best solar output and where and how to run the pipes for the Hybrid.
Remember it os a money grab but get ot done works really well.
Communication could be alot better.
Overall happy, don't be afraid to get how you want it. It is you home after all!
Very straightforward to arrange and much appreciated, saving my Dad money as a pensioner. All works were carried out (new boiler, radiator to one room and top up loft insulation) respectfully, efficiently and to a high standard with minimal disruption over a couple of days. Thank you

The boiler supplied works very well. The electrical part of the installation wasn't completed correctly but once notified of their mistake they quickly rectified this. The gas and water installation were completed correctly and look very neat. At all times the installation was safe.

We had boiler fitted 11weeks ago. The lad that fitted it was lovely did a really good job however the fans that were fitted by another man have still no been fished of they have been out to them 4 times"i need to get some more part I'll be back tomorrow" then not turned up 😡 I've rung up 15 times sent emails and still nothing very poor workman ship. I am now on the verg of getting someone in to do the work then send them the bill

The installation was carried out with care and attention and the staff were knowledgeable and efficient installing the approved materials although we was hopeful of having loft insulation carried out but this did not materialise.
Overall would and have recommended.

No proper explanation at the beginning of what we actually had to have installed to obtain the grant.After we signed up there was a considerable amount of pressure to do the work immediately even though we explained we had the loft to empty first and I was having treatment for cancer at the time.The gas boiler fitters were very good but everyone else didn’t stick to appointment times and turned up when they felt like it -once at 7.15 pm. The exposed pipes in the loft were not lagged despite repeated requests and we subsequently had to pay for that ourselves with someone else. Lack of returning phone calls from the company and responding to complaints. No one was taking responsibility.

Fantastic Joe and son excellent they work so well together. Tidy they removed a back boiler in its place a combi. A lot of work was involved it was second nature. I had no clearing up to do that is how tidy they work. Hope I can get them as a service provider and ditch British Gas

***WARNING TO ALL ELDERLY RESIDENTS IN MANCHESTER AREA, BEING ASKED ABOUT BOILER/ENERGY HELP GOVERNMENT SCHEME.
This company are appalling and preying on the elderly generation for their own gain.
The 1 star is for the engineer who fitted the boiler and did a good job.
They approached my 83 year old parent, who has no internet, no mobile etc, which they were made aware of at the assessment.
They removed the working boiler in situ and replaced it will a new one. Great, you would think- NO!
The new boilers have to be operated by Google Nest, and an app on a mobile, run by having internet. As my elderly father has NEITHER of these, and no intention of purchasing, he was left unable to use the new boiler.
We contacted Improveasy and someone went out and set something up on it. He went out next day and on returning home, his house was like a furnace.
There was no way the temperature could be lowered and he had no way to use the nest. Therefore, it had to be unplugged.
Several times I've requested a manual to set by hand.NOTHING!
I have also asked for a timer clock to be put on, so he can easily set times/days. NOTHING!
Upon speaking to them again, and asking for a different boiler to be put in, that can be used by elderly parent,I was told my elderly parent would now have to pay for one to be fitted, as the only get money from the Government, for fitting Google nest ones. If they want a manual clock fitted, to enable them to use it, they have to pay for it, at a cost of £150. Absolutely appalling, disgusting,con artists!!
You should be ashamed, preying on vulnerable people to line your pockets.
I will be raising with local MP and Ombudsman.
