Service really needs to be improved

While I love the product and the website construction and editing, the service is terrible. I host my site on Bluehost and they are very good about troubleshooting issues caused by IMCreator uploads to their servers. We end up resolving the issue, but requests for help on IMCreator's side goes unanswered.

6 weeks, issue unresolved. Considering taking legal action against them since this is damaging my career (they've been inaccurately displaying a version of my website from 15 years ago with an old portfolio of my work). Team has ignored all my emails. Their listed phone number doesn't work. Horrible horrible experience.

My IM Creator WEBSITES GONE DARK.

Both my IM Creator websites have again vanished from the internet. Google now indicates there is not a dedicated website.

On Sept. 25, 2025, I renewed both my IMCreator websites for another 3-years paid for via Bluesnap. At this point, I am preparing a complex proposal for my next film. Links to both of my websites feature prominently in the proposal. Before submitting the proposal tomorrow across several recipients, I thought I should check the functionality of both. Both websites are down. This is a serious headache. I am no longer confident in sending proposals, when my website links become suddenly inaccessible and dysfunctional.

Over $1200 have been spent with IM Creator over past six years. After the renewal of my subscription, I was informed my websites were now a legacy format and that I must update to a new digital format. I would undertake that transition, but now there is no longer any customer support whatsoever. Everyday for the past four weeks since my websites went dark, I have sent email inquiries. Silence. Links to websites still read, "does not exist".

After more than a month of both my legacy websites going dark, IM Creator refunded in full the cost of both hosting subscription renewals per my request. Thank you.

SSL certificate issues are not being fixed!

My website is having SSL certificate issues for almost a week and I have received ZERO support from anyone. I have reached out with many emails hoping to rectify the problem as I am losing clients with each passing day. I have been using imcreator for 7 years and the support used to be fantastic so I am very unhappy to see that change. I would appreciate some support to get my website back up and running!!

Whitelabel, Still waiting for Support

2 Sites down - Multiple tries each day to get any support. Even AI agent of Label Home informs you "Team will be back later today" - Nothing happens

Loved this product, support use to be good, what has happened? Hopefully someone in the company takes some interest in what is going on, and informs all users.

I have only just recently had my Yearly Payment taken from my account, so i was expecting things to a little smoother than service i am now receiving.

This company is an empty shell.

Their names sound familiar (Kate, Mike, and Mark) but they are nowhere to be found when you actually need them. It feels like only one human being works there. Emails are answered only after several days, and technical issues can take up to a week to be resolved. Their support is so non-existent that it makes you think twice before making even a few edits or publishing changes to your site. Most of the time, you are left on your own. The only emails they reply to quickly are the ones reminding you to renew your subscription. Their prices are cheap compared to competitors, and the customer service clearly matches this level of shoddiness. They used to do better. This company has become an empty shell.

SLL certificate not working

SLL Certificate was not working for some reasons.
Got in touch, took some time, but then they fixed.
Wish I was able to quickly ring a phone line or chat with someone live in a chat rather than waiting. But happy that things got resolved.
Hopefully no more future downtime

UPDATE

Two days after the the issue persisted again and we are back with site down and SSL certificate expired.

Waiting again for them to fix... Hopefully not like last time 4 days of waiting. and 4 days of business lost.

Ungodly awful customer support

Ungodly awful customer support. I have 3 websites that have been down for over a week. Sent over 10 emails to their support team to all the different email addresses I have on file and not a single person has responded. For no reason whatsoever all the sites I have built all displayed a Page Does Not Exist error. Cannot get anyone to help get the sites back live. Contacted GoDaddy to help since they are the domain host and they basically said they can't do anything without IMCreator. Unreal that it's this impossible to get someone to help you when you have an issue with their site. Will be canceling all of my sites when this is finally fixed and taking my business to a company that actually helps their customers out.

IM Creator's support is bad on several…

IM Creator's support is bad on several levels and much worse than it used to be. I sent in a query recently and they took a week to respond, with a question for me! I'd figured out the answer to my query myself by then. I made a new request for support a week ago (another issue) and am still waiting for a reply. Unacceptable. Other sources of help eg video tutorials, written materials etc are unsatisfactory and the help and tips pages on IM Creator's own website aren't working. I won't be renewing my subscription.

Nonexistent customer support

I like how easy it is to build a good looking site even for me who is not graphic designer of any kind, and I love the fact that they offer free sites for artists and students. But the customer support is non existent sad to say which makes it completely unuseful to me since I'm having trouble publishing the site and can't get help with it.

Very Helpful In Rectifying Your Issues

Update October 28th 2025:

Since making my previois review ImCreator support team reached out to me directly to rectify the issues withy websites. There customer service upon responding to my review; was very good. They fully fixed the issue and my websites are successfully Up and Running.
💡If you have difficulty understanding their instructions as I did as Im not that tech savvy: a helpful tip is the technical support team of GoDaddy will walk you through how to get your site working properly from ImCreator instructional document the support team emails to you.
Thanks ImCreator support staff you did excellent at the resolution. #gratitude

Previous review:
Years ago this imcreator website builder was excellent to use as they had excellent service for technical support.I reached out Sept 29th and didnt receive a reply until October 4th on email. Within that email was a google drive document for me to fix the issue myself. Now if I could fix the issue myself I wouldn't have asked for assistance. Technical Support is non existent.
I sent another email as the instructions did not work. Surprise surprise. I am still awaiting assistance today.

website down for a month

One of my recent websites is down for 30 days now and they do not reply to emails. Also, in other existing websites the SSLs have expired and were not renewed.

A system in serious decline

I have used this company for over ten years and they used to be great and the product was a good entry level product. But things have gone from bad to worse. This year technical problems with sites that take weeks to fix if ever and any fixes are more unprofessional 'patches' that place the onus on me to sort things. A number of sites in imcreator had SSL issues for weeks blocking people from visiting the sites with ‘not secure’ warnings and now more sites have this issue. This is an issue that a professionally run system should never have had in the first place. All of my sites in their Starfish product went down completely without warning and I received no apology or attempt to get the sites back online just a suggestion to download a ‘static’ version of the sites.
I'm a reseller and it's placed me in a horrible position with my customers and has had a terrible effect on their businesses. I've lost my own website design and hosting business as a result as I have been forced to direct my customers to get their sites re-made quickly with other companies as I couldn’t not warn them about the fragile platform their business websites were made and hosted in. 

So in short imcreator/Starfish has:

*Knowingly let the platforms collapse or malfunction without a proper transition plan.

*Kept accepting payments for a service they no longer truly support.

*Have offered no warning, no timeline and no accountability.

*Are putting the burden on their customers to clean up the mess.

Assistance is now largely google docs in a google drive folder, which says it all - a system fragilely propped up and in demise. If they wanted to shut things down the honourable and ethical thing to do would have been to have a plan and provide a realistic timeline for people to move their sites elsewhere and communicate this to their clients. The company has clearly indicated that imcreator and Starfish are now considered 'side projects’ which will not be further developed as they’ve moved onto other things and they try to help their customers 'when they can'. It seems to me it’s only a matter of time until the imcreator system collapses completely and when it does I don’t doubt it will be without any warning as it was with their Starfish product. I'd suggest taking note of the warning signs and not expecting things to get any better.
And with regards to your response to this you didn't care when I was telling you my customers sites weren't working, were not giving me any indication of if or when you were going to fix issues and when I told you I was going to have to move them somewhere else and lose my business I was told to 'do whatever I thought I had to'. So there's no resolving the issue unless you want to find me 50 new customers. Your response is a fire fighting attempt at damage control with a failing website system.

Customer service is slow.

I purchased an SSL certificate from IM Creator to add to a current website they host (you can only use their certificates). I've been trying for three days now to contact their customer support team - via email and their online Messenger - to install it without any response. While I wait, the value of the certificate decreases as it's only good for 12 months. They don't seem to have any difficulty taking payments, but getting any kind of support is a different story. To be clear, you cannot install these yourself so I'm in limbo until they decide to get back to me.

UPDATE - I've been contacted now by IM Creator apologising for the delay, providing me the necessary instructions and refunding me the annual fee. I really appreciate the company responding in this way. I feel that many of the issues I've encountered could have been avoided if there was clearer guidance on their website about what is included at each tier (I am still not really clear if I needed to purchase an SSL certificate or if it supposed to be included with my subscription) and the links to their FAQ and user manual worked (they currently don't and either take you back to the home page or return a 404 error).
Much happier now that the issue has been resolved - thank you IM Creator.

My website is not currently displaying

My website is not currently displaying. Previous contact with them has resulted in them taking days to get back to me.

Customer service has been in constant decline for quite some time now. It's going to take some time to transition to a new platform/provider but it doesn't seem like I have much choice now. Same. They were very good.

Edit: only fair that I update this. After posting my initial review the ImCreator team acted quickly to get my website up and running again. So 4 stars. This is how their customer service used to respond in the past. I hope this is a sign that they will continue to act like this. So for now, I'll stay out and see how things progress. Well done ImCreator team

Worse provider ever

I've been a client of IMC Creator for many years. By now (2025), it is accurate to say that despite its beautiful design, no other single advantage from this provider currently remains. All services stopped functioning, responses to client tickets take days and are frequently useless, technical issues are not solved and then ignored, and feedback is rare or nonexistent. Client service is uninterested or unresponsive. Their help page is currently OFF, and any technical instructions as CNAME, domain, IP, etc references are no longer available. They only contact you in an automated way once a year to check your subscription payment. IMC became the worst provider ever.

Better Now!

Edit: I was contacted after leaving the review and a paypal complaint, and Imcreator has communicated quickly and regularly to resolve all issues. I received the download (it's perfect)and the support for the remaining website issues continues. They have adjusted compensation for the issues as well. As a result I will continue to use the host, and am changing the 1 star to 4 - working on 5 :)
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have had 4 different sites hosted over the past few years, most have moved on for one reason or another. Tried to get a download pdf record of one, and they collected $$ to do so immediately. They did not provide the pdf, stopped communicating, and are blocking the remaining site - makes it look like Imcreator is out of business. Struggling now to get my money back and explain this crap to my client.

The websites can look quite nice, but...

The websites can look quite nice, but the building structure is in no way intuitive. Things that should be simple end up being hopelessly complicated. They're knowledgeable when they respond, but response times can be quite slow. I feel that it wouldn't take too much effort to turn this into a decent company, but the way it is at the moment, I'm honest expecting it to shut down, and take my website with it. If they improve, I'll happily return and give them a few more stars
