Gift lost and never delivered.

I spent a lot of time choosing the product and opted to pay extra shipping costs in order to get the gift to my gravely ill mother-in-law by Mother’s Day. Unfortunately the gift never arrived. Courier tracking stopped and when I chased it up (after mother’s day) I was told the courier had lost the package.
I asked for a refund, which I received, but I am extremely disappointed. My mother-in-law got nothing from us for mothers day - probably her last.

StTus on delivery’s

To date I have not heard on the delivery status on this order. Very bad experience with this people. About time they offer me a refund as I do not know if my order was delivered or not. I even e- mailed them and th3 response was we are closed for Covid reasons .

Initial bad experience - good follow-up

Original Review: The products seem to be good but they really need to fix their delivery partner. I can see on many other reviews here that there have been issues with delivery often but they don't seem to really take them into account, just reply defensively saying "We've already solved your issue" or "You need to contact us" or something like that. This isn't really acceptable, as if it's affecting the receival of their products constantly then it's a re-occuring issue not just a once-off. In my case, I ordered a hamper as a gift for a colleague and paid express shipping for it to be delivered fast as it had fruit and flowers in it. It took 7 days to get there, so when it got there the fruit was off and the flowers were dying. Very disappointing. My colleague stressed that I didn't need to send another one but it made for a very underwhelming gift. I had intended for it to be a surprise farewell gift, but I had to contact him and liaise with him about delivery before it arrived as the hamper was almost lost, and then when it arrived it was almost all unusable. iGift Hampers was contacting the courier to get them to deliver it once I raised the issue, but it's not really good enough. This issue needs to be fixed in the first place, I can see there have been four negative reviews in the past week alone related to delivery. This place is based in Sydney and ships out the fruit and everything from there, so I would recommend not ordering from them unless you are based there, and even then maybe don't order and just pick a better higher quality local place that will ensure your products arrive undamaged and fresh.

Update:
Somebody from iGift Hampers called me and gave me a full refund and offered a $20 credit to use on the next order. They also explained that there are issues with COVID with delivery drivers at the moment which causes delays in certain areas without warning. My gift recipient doesn't want a re-send but they did offer that too. All in all, initial bad experience which makes me wary of ordering again in case couriers are delayed once more, but the customer service was good so I have changed my rating.

The process was really easy ordered on there website that was intuitive and easy to use. Fruit hamper turned up to mums on time and the fruit selection was really good and fruit was fresh. Would recommend to friends and family

Hamper wasnt delivered

Ordered a hamper 4 days prior to mothers day, it wasnt delivered and its now been a week. Cannot call to discuss and I have not received replies to my emails. Paid extra for urgent delivery

Ordered a $103 fruit hamper for my lderly mum for mothers day. Thought I'd do the right thing & order early to help igift with busy weekend deliveries.
Still no show & very disappointed to say the least.

No package, no help

The purchased product did not arrive at time indicated. It looks like the iGift team did what they needed to, to get it shipped. But then their chosen courier missed the date with no explanation. I waited until 5:00pm on the day it was expected. Unfortunately the helplines all close at 5:00pm as well. Leaving me with no package and no way to understand when or if my delivery would occur. The tracking tool showed updates from 3 days prior.

My Order

I ordered the arrangement of Native Flowers and a Bag of Fruit.

The Flowers where all green leaves
And the bag of Fruit was no way worth $118.00

They where for my Mother for Mothers Day she took photos to show me.
I have emailed them to you
I was very shocked you would send your products like that
Very upset and Disappointed .

Hello. Sorry you felt that way but we are not a weekly fruit shop website. All our products are gifts and we do not recommend you try and do weekly fruit shops with us and definitely recommend Woolworths or Coles for that type of purchase.

Cannot fault the service or products

iGift Hampers website was easy to navigate and order from. Great range of products. Reasonable cost and postage charge. The service was excellent. I was kept informed regarding the progress of my order from the time I placed it to the time it was delivered. Thank you so much.

What a debacle

What a debacle! Please note that iGift Hampers are not the issue - the delivery people they use are! First the plant was very late which was disappointing to say the least. The plant finally arrived with broken pot and damaged plant, box and wrapping even though the box was clearly marked Fragile and "this way up" etc.
iGift offered to resend. This finally arrived on Good Friday while we were away - upside down (not good for the plant!) and almost thrown at the front door (we have a camera). Think Starshipit was the delivery company.
