Sent a 5G router free delivery as they sent me a postage label
Simple job but too small for me to do. It needed a new SIM card slot as a contact had broken off the old one so not reading SIM.
Sent it away for an estimate, kept trying to contact, got through once, after 5 days of no information tried to contact but their phone number would cut off after 10 rings and you can't reply to emails, just a chat bot to talk to. Seven working days later they emailed me to tell me it was going to cost £95 to solder on the new SIM card holder (I provided the new SIM card holder) as you can buy them off eBay for £60 working that was pointless and expensive. Probably only take a skilled engineer with the right equipment all of 20 minutes to sort. So declined the fix, which btw they said was req to go on to full repair? So probably had the idea of charging more for unneeded work on a perfectly working router, who knows how far they would take it! Next thing I know I get an invoice for £27.90, £20 service charge and £7.90 postage for a supposed free estimate. Anyway I want my router back and will buy a magnifying glass 🔍 and do it myself. I only paid £30 for it so I'm upto £60 which is what I can get one for but unlocked they're on eBay for £250 because they are brilliant 5G WiFi 6 routers. I bought another one for £60 anyway that I'm currently using. It's the Vodafone Gigacube XTE MC888 ULTRA T1. If you've got decent 5G in your area these are brilliant, I'm paying £11 a month and get 250Mb/s which will only go up as 5G rolls out further. So much cheaper than fibre, ID mobile do an unlimited data SIM for £6 a month but you have to pay more a month then claim cash back, which is apparently an easy process with their app. I just don't know if there is a speed cap on it, which is something to bear in mind when you buy an unlimited data SIM. ID mobile use the three network, so might not be available, I'm on EE with no speed cap.
So anyway, if you put your head in the tigers mouth and send your electronics to this lot for a free estimate, the lowest you'll be paying is £27.90 and if they can repair it a good chance it will cost more than it's worth. Just stay away from these and use a local electronics repair shop where you can call or pop in to find out exactly what's going on.
If I don't get it back with my SIM card holder I'm going to town.

AVOID READ THE REVIEWS DANGEROUS REPAIRS

6 months to repair a simple fault on a amp I got it back and it blew up in my face sparks came out the front i sent it back and another 2 months later said they repaired it and it blew up in my face with in 2 min of a song then they blamed me and my equipment I must of done something it’s 5 plugs can’t go wrong then sent it back again said it’s my fault and wouldn’t repair under their 2 bob warranty so they invoiced me 350 to repair it so i rejected that and sent me another invoice for looking at it and the carriage to send it back destroyed so I refused to pay it so then they scrapped my amp after completely ruining it this company had conned me out of over 200 quid also destroyed my amp and then threw because I didn’t pay they have scrapped the amp they destroyed the customer service is disgusting the engineers don’t know what they are doing and they are still getting away with sending back dangerous products I could have got electrocuted or worse

Horrible company with disgusting…

Horrible company with disgusting attitude to their customers, only for those who wants the details of their cards and bank details being stolen. I would rate them minus 10 if I could. I never received such a horrible service in whole my life My new phone after 3 month of use developed problem with the battery and started to give me warning to switch it off.
I could not find replacement battery on Internet. Only Electronic Partners promised to help me after conversation over phone. But they do not sell batteries separately so I had to send them my phone. After they received it, I did not hear anything from them. I called them many times, holding a phone for one hour but it looked they completely blocked my number.
It looked to me they misappropriated my phone. I wrote them message that am going to contact police. But after that them but they told me they do not have batteries and I have to cancel my order paying them £7.90.
I've tried to pay by card but paying button was blocked. The bank transfer did not work as well because my bank sends me the warning that the name of the company is different and there is a danger of fraud. I called police and only after that everything started to work. Obviously, they were hearing my conversation with a policeman. The whole experience was a real mockery at me which I never had before and it gave very bad emotional distress.
Finely I've received my phone with swollen like a barrel battery , completely ruined in unrepayable condition.
I suspect that I received this treatment because I had many bookmarks from Aliexpress on my phone and for them it was a signal for bullying.
The insolence of those scammers does not have limits they write me, asking to rate their company after all they done. OK here is my rating. Don't even bother to reply me .
Everything you will write is lie. Most probably all the positive feedbacks are fake as well. After I published my review, they flagged it as harmful for them. How wonderful! So to destroy my phone is OK but hear the truth is not pleasant? I will not leave it as it is and will report you.

Avoid Avoid Avoid.

If you can go anywhere else please do. They had my headphones for 8 months and kept giving me shaggy dog stories about they couldn’t get the part. Horrendous to deal with and the just don’t care. Eventually got them back and they did nothing. Hopefully this will save someone else the hassle that I had. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all cost!

Avoid at all cost! A truly dreadful company with appalling customer service, my phone took over 2 months to have the screen replaced. Communication was non existent and no apologies or compensation for my inconvenience.

I have used Electronic Partners for the first time.
I cannot praise their customer service highly enough!
- in particular an advisor called Jackie who was so helpful and efficient.
The use of 'tickets' to communicate with Jackie was excellent. No long waits on the telephone! I would most definitely use Electronic Partners again, and recommend it to all my friends. The repair and delivery back was handled so expertly. Thank you EP!

Sent a gpu for repair,paid €30,wasnt even opened was sent back to me saying couldn't repair.. I have very little knowledge but I spent 1 hour looking at solutions on YouTube and fixed it myself using freedos and doing a usb bios flash.
Gpu was returned to me very well packaged so I guess that's a plus.

Avoid this crowd like the plague

Avoid this crowd like the plague, I gave them a I phone to fix, they said it couldn't be fixed, charged me €30,then offered to sell me a similar I phone 5. I bought it and took it home but had a problem with volume, took it back and they chequed it out, no problem they said with phone. They would not refund me, had to buy a new phone.
I'm taking them to the small claims court

same like other people the electronic partners it is a scammers i send my phone because have charging problem i pay 77pounds and they send it to me back with screen damage and the phone got no sounds
and charge me again 16pounds for service and the phone it is in the same condition without sounds

If I could give a zero star experience…

If I could give a zero star experience I would. I sent my gamecube to be repaired by priority repair. £114.93 later they said it was working/read disks and sent it back to me. It still did not read disks. I called and asked for a refund as the service that I paid for was not provided and was told that I could not have a refund. I then opened a ticket case and was told that I could have a refund if I sent my console back so they could take the part out. Why would I entrust my console to this company again when I do not trust them one bit? Just so they can dismantle my property, do god knows what to it and then send it back to me? Firstly, they lied to me and said it was working, I asked if they tested the console before it left their premises and if they had proof of this - this question was ignored. I very much doubt that they could test it with gamecube cables and a game considering they had to order the part in. Then they told me that they needed the console back to check that it definitely was not working - so I was basically called a liar. They then said they needed the console back ro check to see if it had any other issues - surely this would have been done on first inspection, you know, what I paid for?
I have refused to send it back so they won't give me a refund. How about you cut your losses with the part that you probably got for £10 and refund me my £114.93! You breached what you was paid to do and have neglected my consumer rights.
I feel completely let down and conned by this place and would not recommend it to anyone - I have opened a case elsewhere to get my full money back.

Avoid at all cost

Sent away a electronic device in April and I was getting very little progress reports, anytime I contacted them I had to give them help I had to find information of the device myself online and sent it to the engineer then to be told he can’t fix it unless he has he can get a second device like it. Very unprofessional don’t seem to know much about electronics I would highly recommend avoiding them

Sent my Apple Watch to Electronic Partner Galway, I feel I was scammed.

Sent my Apple Watch to Electronic Partner for repair to broken glass face on 19 April 21, accepted the quote for repair and received my watch back 9 weeks later on 18 June 21. A diagnostic report stated that the watch was working perfectly but on unpacking the watch it would not turn on. The watch was returned to Electronic Partner on 23 June 21 where they discovered a second issue with the battery. They claimed this was a separate issue and that the watch was working perfectly when they repaired it the first time, they required a further payment before they released the watch back to me, resulting in the repairs costing more than a new watch would cost. I would never deal with this company again, they have no customer care, are difficult to contact and quite rude. I can’t help but feel scammed. Stay well clear of Electronic Partners Galway.

I had two Sony Ps controllers

I had two Sony Ps controllers. One had a faulty left shoulder button and d pad and the other kept going haywire every so often. Found EP online offering free diagnosis. I filled in online form and received a reply stating that they would need to see my controllers. I sent them off and a few days later was informed the repair cost would be £85 for both. Should l not wish to go ahead l would have to pay a £20 service charge and £7 postage for each controller, £54 to get my controllers back! If you use this company be sure to read their T&Cs:

3.2 No Fix No Fee Policy / Service Charge

(a) All diagnostic/repair requests carry a “Service Charge” as defined below, which covers the engineer’s time for diagnostic or any parts used in the attempt to repair the unit. The service charge will become due only when:

– The unit is Beyond Economical Repair (i.e. it would be cheaper to replace the unit than fix it)
– The unit is not found to be genuine, and parts are not available.
– If the device has been diagnosed and the repair request has been cancelled before the repair process has started.
– We provide a new quotation, partial repair or diagnostic and you refuse this quotation.

Please note that the return postage cost will be in addition to the service charge.
At our discretion, we may waive the service charge if you permit us to recycle the damaged unit.

(b) Service Charge:

£8.10 – Headphone, DVR/Camera, GPS Navigation
£15 – Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Tablet/iPad, MP3 Player/iPod,
£20 – Gaming Console/Controller, PCB Board, Not Listed Items
£30 – Laptop/Desktop PC, Audio HiFi Equipment,
£45 – Drone/UAV

(c) If no fault is found, we will return the Equipment to you as is and a service charge of £8.10 plus shipping applies.

3.3 Turnaround Time

We aim to diagnose and process standard repairs within 3-5 working days from the date they arrive.

However, we can not guarantee any stock or turn around times, and the process will take longer if we need to order parts for your repair.
It usually takes 5-10 working days for parts to arrive, but it can take up to four weeks, depending on the manufacturer.
If you do require the unit back quickly, then we strongly recommend using our “Priority Repair” option.

Please note that all repairs can take longer during busier times.

3.4 Priority Repair

The priority repair will let you skip the queue of standard repairs, and express shipping applies.

We aim to diagnose and process priority repairs within 1-2 working days from the date they arrive.
However, we can not guarantee any stock or turn around times, and the process will take longer if we need to order parts for your repair.

It usually takes 5-10 working days for parts to arrive, but it can take up to four weeks, depending on the manufacturer.

The priority repair option is subject to a fee of £30 to the total cost of your repair request.

Please also note that if the unit is NFF (no fault found), BER (beyond economical repair), or you refuse a quote, the fee of £30 is due in addition to the service charge and the return postage cost.

3.5 Return Postage

Return postage applies to each out of warranty repair regardless of the outcome of the repair and is not included in any Estimate or Quotation.

All orders are usually dispatched within one working day after we received payment in full to the Invoice shipping address. We do not take responsibility for delays due to the courier.

Return shipping cost: £7.90
Heavy Weight Surcharge: £7.00

What is Heavy Weight Surcharge?
Heavy Weight Surcharge is imposed on parcels weighing more than 5kg or parcels with dimensions exceeding 61cm x 46cm x 46cm.

In the unlikely event that a parcel is lost during shipment, we will attempt to replace the item with a used product of the same or similar

Sent my denon x6500H away to this company after seeing it on the web they kept on asking for money through this portal they have set up first there was this partial repair then this went on for 4 months 24/07/2020 invoice number INV 16021480 repair request 40037427 total £117.60 I then get a message through this portal on the 7/8/2020 invoice 16021829 repair request 40037427 labour cost 163.80 part special order 12.85 part special order 46.84 a total of 223.49 so overall I was out £321.09 they then phone me to say that my amp was unrepairable and they would waver the return postage fee if I would like the company to keep my item to be recycled I replied no I’ll pay the £25 postage return I got my item back I then got onto the web and contacted SST sound system technology I described the fault they sent a postage label sent it away the costumer care was excellent as soon as they received my item they notified me they then sent me a fee for the repair after 21days Through a good old phone call I got my amp back within one month totally working so it was repairable after all . I have left the invoice numbers in so electronic partners know that this is genuine .and trust pilot do not flag it . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Great service!!

Fantastic service! I was weary to send my Switch Lite since I had never heard of the company before but i’m so glad I did. I sent the switch off to have the charger port replaced last Wednesday and received it exactly one week later in perfect working order! Very quick and easy process, I couldn’t recommend more. Reasonable price for such a great service!

Please avoid at all costs

Please avoid at all costs. Back glass on phone had smashed. Waited over a month for it to be repaired. Within a couple of weeks the camera housing fell off. Returned the phone for it to be repaired. Phone came back and camera quality was significantly reduced almost as if they hadn't wiped the lense before re attaching the camera housing. Returned the phone again and when it came back the camera quality was slightly better than it was but nowhere near as good as it was. The reason I bought the phone was for the camera and now it's grainy. Please avoid this company. Do not use!

Had a really bad experience and would not recommend to anyone. In January I sent in a phone in perfect condition because the microphone wasn't working, I received the phone back and not only was the microphone still not working, the charging port was now also broken. I sent the phone back again, the two parts were fixed but the phone came back unable to read SIM cards. (This part is connected to the USB part in the phone and so must have been damaged during the repairs). The phone needed to be sent back AGAIN, and when I finally received it, six MONTHS later, the phone was scratched and not water proof at all and a few days later the SIM card started disconnecting and not being read. During all this, customer service was very unhelpful and constantly claimed there was nothing wrong with the phone and it passed all inspections before being sent back. At one point the phone was completely misplaced and I had to call multiple times (despite them saying they will call back and not doing so) just to get it fixed and back to me. Huge waste of time and money and the phone still isn't working now.
