Excellent app, highly recommend
I have a 15yr old who has their own hyperjar card, and I use the service so I can pay his pocket money each week. He has to earn it, and it can very each week depending on how many tasks he had completed.
I like that I can track what he is spending his money on so I can monitor purchases.
The app is very easy to use.

Great card for kids

Very happy with using the Hyper Jar app…
Very happy with using the Hyper Jar app to manage my child’s money pot. I find it really easy to use and my child has the funds in their jar to spend as and when required.
It’s easy peasy and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a payment app for their child.

It's the best app for children's first…
It's the best app for children's first money account. Very easy to use, add money to the girls accounts, see what they are spending it on. My girls just love the fact they both have an actual card with their names on it. It's contactless as well so very easy for them to use. Plus, it's a MasterCard so they can use it abroad without heavy current exchanges and charges. I have recommended to several friends.

Super easy and convenient account
My account was really easy to set up. And it was easy to set up a linked account for my daughter who has her own card. She loves being able to see how much pocket money she has and she finds it easy to set up savings jars for other things too. Super easy to transfer money between jars. She had independence while I can keep an eye on how much and where she is spending. I love the fact I get a notification when she spends so I know what’s going on and can make sure there is money for her. It’s also great for her to be able to learn money management from an early age.

Really quick to set up. One off payment and no monthly fees unlike other cards. Can keep an eye on the spending & top up if needed.

I love hyperjar
I love hyperjar, as a stroke survivor with memory problems the separation of money into separate pots really helps me control my finances, it is the only card I use abroad as they have some of the best rates available. The pots must be a good idea as NatWest are now copying it. They were great when a scammer took some money from my card their service team guided me through the process of what to do and I managed to get my money back.

Supervised Financial Experience
It's been great for giving my daughter's some financial independence but I can still keep track of what and where they are spending. I like how I can easily transfer money to them. They love that they can set up separate jars to save for things.

I have used HyperJar for a few years…
I have used HyperJar for a few years now for both my children, it’s really simple to use is a great way to start them off.
Yesterday I had a slight issue with an old email address that is no longer in use, I spoke to someone through the ‘chat’ and it was resolved within minutes! Highly recommend!

Let down by HyperJar
We have been using HyperJar for my son so he can manage his money and have some independence, whilst we can have some visibility of his spending. However today it failed to work when he was out with friends trying to buy lunch causing a lot of embarrassment and stress. We had to drive into town to deliver some cash so he could pay!
There was obviously an outage of their systems and after contacting them they admitted there was a problem. I will be switching to a proper high street bank card for him now as this was not acceptable.
Great system, but don't rely on it...
