I recently gifted my deceased mum’s silver ring to my daughter so she could gift it to her girlfriend for an upcoming birthday. Unfortunately, there was a garnet and diamond missing . Hugh Rice made great efforts to find a stunning piece of amethyst as to match the garnet , and they did so beautifully and at a very reasonable price.
The service is impeccable, they have reset my wedding ring diamonds and polished it up twice, nothing is too much to ask .

Having taken my ring to Hugh Rice for a clean, it was bought to my attention that the setting had worn and I was at risk of losing the stones. (I was told I could wear it for my wedding day and then that was it!!)
I’ve just got my beautiful ring back today and they have done a fantastic job. The central stone had always been a little offset and that has been corrected without altering the overall proportions. The emerald has been polished and the diamonds are so sparkly.
I had the ring made to celebrate the birth of my second child so it’s very sentimental.
If you have items of jewellery that are sentimental and you need a trustworthy repair, don’t hesitate to take it to Mike and his team.
I have been a customer since 2000 and have not found another jeweller either locally or further afield who can match them in terms of quality, value for money and customer care. Thank you Hugh Rice.
