My mother was in need of a riser recliner chair, we visited the showroom in Swindon and were greeted by Lesley who took the time to show us the varied selection of styles, sizes and options of the chairs. The whole process was clearly explained, and we were not rushed or pressured. The big advantage of visiting a store like HSL is ensuring you get the right fit and options to provide long term comfort and functionality. Highly recommend this company, excellent service and staff, now awaiting delivery.

The sales lady knew everything needed to fit the chair correctly to my size, height and ability. The showroom had an excellent selection of chairs and sofas and fabrics. The advice we received was excellent. The showroom also had a toilet and we were offered a coffee and biscuits. The whole experience was superb.

Very kind and considerate attention to my needs as an elderly customer. Very good coffee too! I made two visits, on the first I was seen by Dawn and on the second by Jakub, both of whom were excellent.

We bought an HSL chair a year ago and Dawn served us. It was lovely to see Dawn again when we bought our second chair. It is great to be able to buy British as they are made in Yorkshire and the frames are guaranteed for 25 years!

We were made very welcome but left to wander at leisure. When we were ready James discussed options available and was very patient when we kept dithering between Standard/larger chair. Very satisfied with the service and the coffee. Hope furniture when it arrives is good.

I had a friendly welcome from Kerrie at my visit to the Swindon showroom. I was looking for a recliner chair and was impressed with Kerrie’s knowledge. She listened to my needs and explained in detail the available options. I was given a cup of coffee and all the time I needed to think about the options. I felt supported throughout my visit and confident in my choice with Kerrie’s help.

The furniture purchasing experience from HSL from first contact in the showroom to delivery six weeks later has been entirely satisfactory.

I had a good idea what I wanted and the saleslady (Lesley) advised on chair size, demonstrated the features and discussed all the options. She took my order and told me what to expect, and when.

Everything went as predicted and five weeks later I had ‘phone call from HSL to arrange delivery the following week - 22 October ‘25, a morning delivery. On the day the van driver ‘phoned at 8.00am and duly arrived at 8.20am. The crew of two were very organised and the job was complete by 9.00am.

The furniture is exactly what I wanted. In particular the reclining armchair provides a degree of lower back support which I had not fully appreciated in the showroom. I am delighted at the level of comfort.

Overall, this has been a very satisfactory experience. The service from all HSL staff involved has been second to none.

Very helpful staff with great product knowledge and consideration for my situation. Not pushy sales - comfortable experience.

Received excellent customer service from Kerrie in Swindon branch, and Pauline in Cheltenham branch. They, and their colleagues in each branch, were ver helpful,knowledgeable, and patient (whilst I tried to make up my mind about options). Both branches were noticeably very clean and tidy too.
