The knowledge and patience of staff member Richard John ensured that we my wife and I made a mutually satisfactory choice of comfort, style, support and material, and we ordered 2 x Compact chairs.
We had arrived with an expectation of ordering a three seater sofa!
I understand that Richard John's job must require him to allow potential customers to wander the store and sit on all sorts of items. Elsewhere, a salesperson would have left us to it, but Richard went the extra mile, stayed with us, explained the construction of various items, and encouraged us to check and choose/eliminate items until we reached a decision.
We were most impressed with Richard's patience. Alright, it is part of the job, but Richard was genuinely helpful and informative.
The word "gentleman" is reserved for such as he.

Excellent service. From the moment I first walked into he LIncoln store, I was made to feel very welcome, Raechel was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Most refreshingly these days, there was no sales pressure and I could look around at my own leisurely pace before eventually placing an order for about £8000 ( two leather reclining armchairs plus a contrasting "tartan" sofa and matching "ottoman" foot stool) as well as a few "extras" with more likely to be added later. There needs to be more shops like this with staff who genuinely care about their customers then we might see a revival in the HIgh Streets.

A very pleasant experience, no pressure just informed information on the products. It’s like a higher level of customer service.

From ordering to delivery the service was excellent.
Questions were answered in a considerate way.

We were welcomed into the shop as we walked in by a cheerful jovial Andy both he and Rachel couldn’t be more helpful or cheerful,I sat in first chair but felt comfortable enough to try as many as I wanted without any pressure .
A must shop for anyone wanting furniture!!!!!!

Were greeted by the sales assistant named
Rachel we were offered tea/ coffee @ biscuitson arrival. From then on the quality of service & attention was of the highest standard something that is not common these days. Nothing was a problem for Rachel and we ordered exactly what we were looking for.

Helpful friendly staff in the Lincoln shop, I couldn't remember the colour of our previous buy to match it and she took the trouble to contact people to make sure I got the right one. Delivery absolutely fine by Ian and Paul, earlier than we we're told but missed the rain.

Last week a friend invited us to try out his new Aysgarth armchairs from HSL as we are both in our 70s now and we find our current armchairs very uncomfortable. We were so impressed we called into the Lincoln showroom on Friday 24th and spent around 2 hours in the shop with the manager, Richard, discussing the wide range of models, fabrics and features. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard. We left with a brochure and some rough costings. After reviewing the suitable options we called back in on Monday 27th and saw Andy who was equally helpful and very amiable. Again we went through the pros and cons of 3 different styles of armchair we had shortlisted, Aysgarth, Ripley and Bramham. We eventually settled on the Aysgarth range, the same as our friends and now have two 4 motor riser / recliners on order and can't wait for delivery.

What a delight the showroom experience was and then today after a little wait the chair arrived ,couldn't fault Damon and Carl first class service,friendly,quick,no mess,and made the experience complete with a full refresher on how the chair works

We had bought a chair earlier in the year, so we knew what we wanted. The salesman showed us how to activate the front castors on our first chair, which we hadn't been shown before. We ordered the second, manual, chair with confidence, and it looks and feels great.

Purchased from the Lincoln shop. Extremely well looked after and no pressure selling. Delivered today by Paul and Jon. Handled with care and ensured that we knew how to work and look after the chair before they left.

Ian & Paul were excellent in setting up and fitting bed and chair, showing settings etc. HSL were excellent as well, just slow on delivery.

We had a lovely experience in HSL Lincoln showroom with Andy who spent a lot of time showing us all the fabrics and all the different type of chairs, before we selected the 2 chairs we ordered.
When the chairs were finished and the delivery date was arranged - it was delivered by Paul & Ian who spent time showing us the rise & recliner position and very helpful.

We visited HSL on two occasions to try chairs for my 93 year old mother. Rachel and the other staff could not have been more helpful, kind, patient and considerate of our situation. Rachel was knowledgeable about the various chairs and helped identify the most suitable design and size for Mum as well as helping match fabric that would work with her existing suite. The only downside is because of the particular choice of fabric we have to wait for the chair to arrive but look forward to that being asap. Thank you Rachel for your help in this process and how you related to Mum - we would recommend anyone to visit your store.

Just got my recliner it’s fantastic

I was able to walk into the showroom sit in 2 chairs and purchase the 2nd one. This was done immediately

Travelled 40 minutes to visit the store in Lincoln and we werent disappointed! Richard was literally AMAZING from the moment we walked (and wheeled) in. We were looking for a riser/reclining chair for my Dad (a permanent wheelchair user ). Richard listened to my Dad as he explained what he wanted. He asked pertinent questions and then gave all assistance to my Dad to actually try a few chairs out. He took time, was friendly, helpful and made us all feel relaxed and not pressured at all. He found us the perfect chair, at the right price AND it was in stock so it was delivered a few days later. My Dad LOVES it and feels "special" every time he sits in it which is more than we hoped for. Richard is our hero and we can 110 per cent recommend HSL
