An excellent shopping experience at HSL Hendon. Hamza & Monalisa were welcoming & knowledgeable about the fireside chair we'd come in to look at. Very relaxed but professional approach, with no pressure to buy ( though we did! ) The chairs I tried out were all very supportive & it was good to have a choice of cushions. Looking forward to receiving our chair in due course & would highly recommend the service at HSL.

The gentleman who did the house visit was very patient and considerate whilst dealing with the elderly customer.
Not had delivery of the product yet so cannot comment on it as yet but sincerely hope it will be totally satisfactory

I was shown and sat in practically all the petite size high-rise armchairs. Hamza was extremely patient.

We had excellent service from the assistant and undiluted attention as we were the only customers there at that moment. I was able to "try" many chairs and to operate them and hopefully have made the right decision in selecting the chair which I think will meet my requirements.

We recently bought two chairs and a sofa from HSL in Hendon for my mum, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.

From the very beginning, the team showed exceptional understanding of what really matters, especially when choosing furniture for older customers. There was no pressure at all, just genuine patience, thoughtful advice, and a real effort to make sure everything was comfortable, practical, and right for her.

A very special thank you to Ali, who was outstanding throughout. He was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and really took the time to understand my mum’s needs. His calm manner and great sense of humour made the whole experience not only easy but actually enjoyable,which is quite rare when making these kinds of decisions.

The quality of the furniture is excellent solid, beautifully made, and most importantly, comfortable. You can really feel the difference compared to standard high-street options.

All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Thank you, HSL Hendon—and especially Ali—we are very happy (and very comfortable!) customers.

The comfort is just great. We should have bought it years ago! The staff were also great!

Rep who came to the house was kind and patient with the elderly resident.
Samples of the choosen fabric were not available, rep had to keep phoning people to check facts.
The chair brought was useful as was the right size.

We visited the Hendon shop and Hamza was excellent he was not too pushy and left us to browse stepping in at the right moment.

Three weeks ago I visited the Hendon branch and received excellent service from Ali. Last week he visited our home with two differently sized chairs, and he was very patient as we finalised our choices of fabric and colours. Upon our arrival, my mother & I were warmly greeted by our client consultant Megan at our local branch in Hendon/London on 21st January 2026. We would like to thank Megan for her professionalism, she listened attentively to our needs, ensured we were able to sample the chairs we ticked in our catalog, we originally came in mind to buy a 2 seater recliner for my mother, however to our surprise we ended up buying a beautiful Helmsley Chair, accompanied with a Buckingham Chair, alongside a Queen Anne Footstool. My mother is so thrilled with her purchase and excited for the arrival of all 3 furniture. Thank you Megan, we really appreciate your knowledge and recommendation, and giving us the time needed as this was important for mum to get it right, and with your help we certainly did. I hope management sees our review of our experience as it well exceeded our expectations.

We popped in on the spur of the moment to look at a Stressless chair, Ali was super helpful with explaining all the options we could have and let us take our time without any hassle. He gave us all the details to take away so we could think about it.
We decided to go back a week later and see him to discuss what we would like, he took the time to sit and go through everything and made the process so easy, because of this we purchased the chair and now are awaiting delivery. Thanks Ali, you're a star.

Arrived on time and very efficient installation of my WONDERFUL new electric recliner chair. It is very comfortable for me with osteoporosis and myeloma and will make my life much more enjoyable! I highly recommend HSL for both the product and the service.

The HSL chair was delivered to us today, a couple of weeks early. We had been advised that we would be advised a precise delivery time today but the friendly delivery team just rang the bell and were very efficient and quick - very happy chappies

My fire side chair is great it is well made and is really comfortable, the guys Martin &Leon were very friendly and polite when they delivered it.

The staff member in the Hendon Branch was extremely helpful. She was able to answer all my questions about the armchair I had chosen and made me feel relaxed and unhurried in my decision making. I wanted a chair which would be exactly right for an elderly lady.
