We had booked to stay at Artists Residence, Penzance for one night and due to travel onward via the Penzance Ferry to Isles of Scilly. Due to storm Austen our ferry has been cancelled and we have been moved to Monday’s ferry. We contacted the hotel to ask if they could kindly accommodate a date change for our reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. They have declined and incredibly unwilling to be flexible. If the hotel was a full or even half full capacity and our original reservation booking would have been snapped up by someone else I would fully understand their reluctance to be accommodating to move our stay . However, the hotel has plenty of availability right across the weekend from Fri onwards. I have never dealt with such an inflexible and inconsiderate hotel.

The room was a lovely spacious room with great views of the sea only issue that we had during the stay was with breakfast was told to sit and somone would take breakfast order no one came to table so didn’t have a proper breakfast because of that but everything else was great
