Great customer service
We travelled up from Brighton to look at a Suzuki jimny advertised at Horsepower.
From the start our sales person was great, dealt with all our questions and queries.
We decided to have it under sealed to prolong the life expectancy and we were kept informed as to progress with regular updates.
Great service, great company, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Great team and dedicated technicians
Duncan and the Horsepower team went out of their way to sort the problems on my car, all created by another garage doing questionable work. Highest of praise for the technicians who went above and beyond to find the problems - of which there were many!

Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE
The transaction with Horsepower was relatively straightforward with an opportunity to see and test drive the car and inspect it before committing to purchase. This car was sold as a 'Part exchange to clear' vehicle leaving the obligation on a prospective purchaser to view and assess the vehicle,sold without 'any major mechanical or electrical defects'. Since purchase it has covered some 500 miles and various small cosmetic defects consequent upon age have been remedied. I hope it will serve us well. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle in this way without some mechanical experience or independent inspection particularly as a rather racey overview of the limited service history was provided together with an MOT dated 20.06.2025 with some advisories which had not been attended to. Also Horsepower were unable to make any arrangement for delivery or offer transport from the local train station for collection. Nevertheless customer service was polite at all times.

As you rightly point out, this vehicle was clearly advertised as a part exchange to clear, meaning it was sold at a lower price and on the basis that the buyer inspects and assesses the car for themselves. We always recommend that customers looking at older or higher mileage vehicles consider an independent inspection if they are unsure, and we are glad you were able to make an informed choice.
We note your comments about the MOT advisories and service history. These were disclosed at the point of sale and priced into the deal, but we will take your feedback on board about how they are presented in future.
We are sorry we could not assist with transport or delivery on this occasion, although we are pleased you found our team polite and helpful throughout.
