I was really pleased as he was really thorough and eager to go the extra mile! He was also punctual which is always greatly appreciated and cleaned the oven even though we didn't request it.

WARNING TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS:
Do not use this company to get your flat cleaned... as the insurance cover is only for marketing purposes. No money will come your way.

We had our flat cleaned by Homejoy last week and damage was caused to the bathroom by their cleaner using a strong toilet descaler to clean and polish our silver hi-gloss brassware, resulting in the damage. The whole shower bar is ruined.

Their Head of Customer Services for London - UK has just informed us that Homejoy will not be compensating us fully for the damage - resulting in us now being left out of pocket by about £400-500 and resorting to taking them to a County Court.

Homejoy is now offering to replace our shower bar as a "goodwill gesture" but not paying for the plumber to install it which stills leaves my partner and I short of a couple of hundred pounds moneywise. Not good enough for us, sorry Homejoy..

The Company has also resorted to shut us up on their Facebook page (we can't comment anymore) so not to alert other customers of their bad practices. So poor is the customer service, they've also now reported this very TrustPilot post to be taken offline, instead of helping us and put us back in the position we where before their cleaner's damage.

It was a pleasure to meet Toni and I was very pleased with the cleaning she did. I would have no reservation recommending her to others.

Homejoy is the first cleaning agency I've used and the concept of having one platform to connect you with the right cleaner (at the right time) is new to me.

That said, it certainly takes the guesswork and anxiety out of finding a cleaner. From a UX point of view I'm very impressed with the online interface, and that counts for a lot.

I liked the cleaner, Javier and have booked him again.

i always feel lazy getting a cleaner in, but Mary-Grace cleaned way better than I ever would. She even cleaned the tops of the cupboards! My sink looks like new and I feel so much better with a lovely clean flat.

My Cleaner, Daniela was fantastic. There was a lot of work for her to do in the first instance, and on her own, she stepped up and got down to it. She was professional, friendly, and very understanding of my needs. I highly recommend her, and would like to book her again.

I would recommend her to anyone! After the service I received a handwritten thank you note from the company. Amazing to see such personal communication in today's email age. Kudos!

The cleaner arrived on time and cleaned the house very thoroughly (two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet and a living room and a kitchen) in five hours

Marta and Fraser arrived punctually, I then left them to it. When I came back, the place was spotless!

When booking i chose to have oven, windows and general clean and they said 6 hours ( I phoned up to say I didn't think it would take that long as my is a small one bedroom flat ( but in total over 7 hours and he didn't finish it all)

Charles (the cleaner) did an amazing job with my windows/ bathroom / kitchen cupboards, my oven looks brand news. I helped him with taking things out my cupboard and a few other things but the job still took over 7 hours and he didn't finish it so I will have to do the rest

I think Homejoy needs to employ 2 cleaners when clients ask for extras oven/windows/cupboards as he took the majority of the times on the extras rather than the general dusting so if they have two one can do the extras and the other can do all the general cleaning . Also the vacuum cleaner he brought wasn't very powerful - please provide him with a new one. I also had to go out and get sponge/coil for the oven even though i had paid for homejoy to bring all cleaning supplies . He used some of my cleaning supplies as well.
I had no problem with Charles he was very hard working, I think homejoy needs to review timings on jobs and maybe two cleaners for long jobs

Amie Samba was an absolute jewel! Very flexible and efficient, she got everything done in record time. She focused on the jobs we had requested and was lovely to have in the flat.

Outstanding! I am overwhelmed with the standard of cleaning that has taken place. The cleaner who provided cleaning services was exceptional, friendly, precise, efficient and arrived on time. Would definitely recommend.

firstly - there was no malicious intent as suggested in the rating!

I booked my cleaning deal as i havent been able to afford a cleaner for a while - (so i do know what someone can do in a certain amount of time)
was advised by homejoy that i would need 3 and a half hours for my house to be fully cleaned in. Was also pleased that with my deal i would get a cheaper price for the next month if i booked again. Cleaner arrived and did the kitchen - (fab) and then moved onto the bath room - when she left i realised only half the bathroom had been done (dust all round wooden railings and window frame and only the bathroom and the kitchen had been done ..now i know my house was dusty but im wondering if she had been 'instructed' to work that slowley so i would have to rebook ....really very unsatisfied and would not recommend to anyone im afraid...

The service was great and the cleaner considered all of our needs and have us helpful advice.

I took a deal voucher from homejoy which cost £9/hr. I have got my house cleaned twice through them and they do a good job.

Everything was done perfectly

I'm a great and incredibly picky cleaner (mostly due to my terribile allergy to dust). The girl who came to clean the flat was absolute on time, accurate and careful to clean almost every corner of the rooms she was supposed to (we didn't ask to clean the bedrooms, but just to focus on the corridor, the bathroom and the living room + kitchen).
Also, the website is pretty user friendly and the customer service is pretty efficient (had to call them since I was having an issue with the voucher I purchased).
Overall I'm really satisfied (the girl who came the first time, is coming again this Friday). And i would definitely recommend the service
