Simply awful food quality, I thought I would try them as normally use Cook, well I will be going back to Cook as the quality is excellent and a good price.
Home Cooks is not at all pleasant, the chicken is just lumps of dark meat not succulent pieces.
The only saving grace was I didn't pay full price as was offered a discount to try.

Been with Gusto and more recently Supper Club for quite a while.
Attracted by HC variety of meals and cuisines so ordered six dinners.
After preparing two and attempting to eat them I have binned the remainder and gone straight back to Supper Club.
The quality is so poor that I can only imagine that the various chefs making the meals are treating it as a side hustle.
No sign of any care or thoughtfulness in meal prep.
Deeply disappointed - avoid.

Signed up to HomeCooks about a month or so ago, the meals are fine especially the ones from FieldGoods.

First box arrived damaged with a lot of the meals partially thawed, conflicting info from the website FAQs that say don’t eat it and the customer service agent who said it’s fine to eat as long as I put them straight in the freezer. They gave me £15 off my next order, which didn’t get taken off my next order but in all fairness they did refund it to my account.

Decided to delete my account with HomeCooks as I won’t be ordering again, I have filled in the account deletion request form 8 times, they say they will action within 24 hours, they’ve ignored each request.

I’ve tried to be generous with my rating but the star is for the Field Goods meals I can’t find nothing good about Home Cooks I’m afraid, ignoring customers is never going to get positive reviews.

Great customer service!
I had an issue with the delivery date and reached out to HomeCooks. Within a few hours I received an email from their customer service team. The next day they confirmed my delivery date and I’m now waiting for my first order in a few weeks to try out lots of the dishes. Looking forward to it!

This company is still growing and likes to look after its customers. I got a phone call from one of the founders when they had been having lots of problems with their app before they updated it. It offers food from around the world delivered to your door. Many small home chefs that cook the food to a high standard. These then are put onto a main selection menu and sent out to you all together. Great if you don't live in a big town or city. It enables you to still have Thai, Italian, Caribbean, etc. Also more unusual like Hungarian, Brazilian, and Lithuanian. You can choose whether you have it fresh or frozen too. Once you have ordered several times you will even get the opportunity to try out new dishes at a reduced price in return for your honest review of the product. This is prior to them putting it on the main menu. I have a monthly subscription but I would recommend you give them a try even if it's just the once.

Can't speak for the food because this website fell at the first fence. I was interested in the trend in home cooked meals delivery, and found Homecooks online. Enticed to order by the promotional discount, I spent quite a while choosing some dishes, went to checkout and applied the discount code...only to get "discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart". I emailed customer service...no reply. Days later I got another email saying my discount code was about to expire and offering a bigger discount still. Like a fool I wasted more time selecting dishes and then...guess what!? "discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart"! I have moved on to another site.

Really love Home Cooks! Had different 6 deliveries the meals are very good and the customer service has always been great.

Very helpful and friendly team.I had a small problem when trying to place an order,and they were so patient and understanding. FOOD IS FANTASTIC. Have reordered and can't wait for the next surprise.The instructions are easy to understand and everything well presented. Highly recommend. Lovely selection of meals too.

We love Home Cooks! Have had probably 6 deliveries so far. Customer service has always been very reasonable and helpful. The meals have been really appreciated during a difficult time when we are unable to cook like we'd like to, so having meals to quickly reheat that are like what we would normally cook is amazing! Can't wait for Mondays delivery :)

As a disabled woman I rely on food that I can microwave that is delivered, there are lots of companies that offer this service. HomeCooks is the first company I have found that offers a range of vegan food rather than just one or two items. Their vegan food is very tasty

I have used HomeCooks since way back in 2000 when they first started delivering during lockdown, and love the range of dishes they offer and their founding concept, of getting home cooked meals from chef to "eater" as directly as possible. And I have always found them incredibly helpful when any issues arise.
Like just yesterday I was trying to order a dish that I know is super popular and which I have never before been able to nab before it is sold out. This time, it seemed to be listed as available on the Homecooks web-site so I ordered two large portions to mark this historic moment, but then found they did not show up on the order for my next delivery. I sent a message saying how disappointed I was, and almost immediately got a personal message back, explaining why this particular item was out of stock just now and assuring me that they would make a note when it was back iin stock and make sure I got an order of it. That is really special customer care!

Very happy with the food,delivery, customer service is excellent, if you do have a problem it's sorted straight away without fuss,which is so important, I love it,have ordered lots of times from here.

Home cooks certainly delivers on what if offers.
All dishes are from independent chefs , you have the choice of cuisine that you may not have tried previously.
When you are a member for some time you might get the opportunity to join “COE” this little group get to taste test new dishes at a reduced price point before they hit the main consumers.
The team listens & very much cares for all feedback be it good or bad, this allows the chefs to either amend or perfect a dish before it’s readily available.

The team made be small but they actively ensure they respond, reply to all customer requests or questions.
I’ve had a few slip ups but both were sorted within 48 hrs. I personally call that customer service.

The company is trying its best to be sustainable both with food packaging & delivery packages too.
All in all a great company , team, chefs and new meals to regularly taste.
Fresh home made & non of that plastic takeaway tastes.

This is my best find so far this year!!

Great food with a range of choices and can be delivered either chilled or frozen.
Heating instructions are provided, some meals are oven only. Good customer service, quick response to questions or queries.

I have bought from HomeCooks several times. I like the variety of dishes. They often introduce new dishes.

Homecooked food, with the homecooked taste no preservatives.
Very tasty, far better then the supermarket variety.

They are giving culinary satisfaction to those who have trouble eating store bought meals that simply have no flavour to one who cooked.

Great food, lovely recipes, very inspiring dishes, no additives or preservatives. Clean enjoyable.

Ordered 6 boxes of food for a first try and it was all lovely! In particular the beef chili
