Highly recommend this course to anyone. Alex is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of first-hand experience which brings everything to life. He is great at breaking down the material into easy-to-follow chunks. His acronyms really help to memorise the most important skills. The new addition of the prior online course is great and makes the face-to-face day focussed on the practical aspects. I will be back in 3 years for the refresher training.

This was a very informative course and learnt a lot about CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Very well explained and would recommend. Alex was clearly very experienced being in the front line for years .

I endorse the other reviews; Alex delivered this morning an excellent 4 hours session to a group of 10 cycling friends and another 6 keep-fit friends (all aged 50+ ). We used a classroom from a local secondary class as it is a school holiday and that worked really well. The rationale for the course is that both cycling and keep-fit classes are often sources of accidents and it was preferable for a majority of us to be trained in First Aid so we can help each other in case of an accident.

Alex's course had been recommended to me by a friend and it is indeed very informative. It is also full of interesting facts and videos, showing life-like and real-life First Aid situations. His schedule of questions is relevant and easy to follow. The practical session is excellent as well, he brings all the dummies needed. Alex possesses a warm personality which makes it easy for everyone to engage with him. A big thank you Alex… we hope we won’t need to use those skills, but we feel much less vulnerable now that we have been trained.

The course is fantastic. The on-line section is completed at home before you meet up for the face-to-face physical training. Alex's course is full of really interesting facts and videos, showing life-like (and occasionally real life) First Aid situations. The questions are multi-choice and relevant to the topic you have just studied. The practical session is excellent as well. Alex is so knowledgeable and highly experienced, and brings fresh, lively attitude to the training. This is the 3rd time I have trained with Alex, and it remains as current and interesting as ever. I have already had to use my First Aid training twice. So thank you Alex, for enabling me to help others.
