Haven disaster holidays!!!
Been going to Haven, Perran sands, Cornwall for the past 20 years! Just came back from a fortnights stay there & must say it’s rock bottom! You have to purchase passes to go swimming, enter the entertainment centre which are very expensive at £110 a fortnight each & basically most of the “so called” entertainment is made up of bingo? Quizzes? Some singing & dancing (not very professional) 2nd rate magicians etc etc??? They’d be better off playing disco music all night as at least people could dance! The security don’t want to know? My daughter had to call the police to report obvious child abuse hitting, swearing etc etc security did nothing! The police arrested the parents & took petrified kids into care!!!! Absolutely useless! I could go on & on but I’ll spare you the torture! Where’s good old Pontins gone! They had it right!
I am going to write to the ceo of haven to express my concerns & disappointment but would strongly advise you, think twice before booking! Got to say my worst holiday since I was a child (I’m now 70 )
