Buyers beware
I've never written a review this negative, but this experience earned it.
The problems started before moving day. The first rep entered my address wrong, and it took two more follow-up calls that still didn't fully fix the booking. When I booked, I clearly said I wanted to buy packing materials from the service provider. That request never made it through. Instead, I had to scramble to make sure materials were brought, and I was hit with an extra $511.
What did $511 get me? Nine boxes, two rolls of shrink wrap, and two rolls of bubble wrap. That's it. It wasn't even enough to finish the job. When I raised this with Hire A Helper support, they refused to admit the mistake and kept insisting I'd said I'd buy materials myself, which is flatly untrue.
The packing itself was worse. The crew didn't finish, leaving more than a sedan and a half's worth of belongings unpacked. They didn't bring enough supplies. Items were packed carelessly, and $300 worth of our things arrived broken. Then I found trash and half-eaten lollipops packed in boxes with my belongings. Who does that with a customer's possessions?
When I took all of this to the owner of Ready to Move, he didn't apologize or offer to make it right. He brushed off every concern and tried to tell me my own experience didn't happen the way it did.
Bottom line: wrong address, ignored requests, overpriced and insufficient materials, an unfinished job, broken items, garbage in my boxes, and zero accountability from either company. Save yourself the stress and money and book anyone else.

Very pleased
They were on time and took very good care of all our furniture. A two man crue and a lot better than the three man crue we hired the day before. Make that make sense. Very happy with their work, I would recommend this company to anybody that is moving.
