Excellent conveyancing service from Georgina and Chelsea
I received excellent service from Georgina Fletcher and Chelsea Peace throughout the sale of my property. They were professional, approachable and responsive, kept me informed at every stage and dealt carefully with the various matters that arose during the transaction.
I was working to a particularly important completion deadline because of an overseas relocation, and Georgina and Chelsea understood the circumstances and did everything possible to keep the sale progressing. Their clear communication, reassurance and attention to detail made a stressful process much easier to manage.

I used Hewitson and Harker for my sale and purchase on the recommendation of a family member who also had a great experience with the firm. My conveyancer, Amy, and her assistant, Samantha, handled both transactions for me- with final completion of our house today.
As an autistic person, I found the legal jargon and the process for both the sale and purchase daunting and at times overwhelming. However, they did a phenomenal job explaining things to me- even when I asked the same questions repeatedly! They were always happy to go through things over the phone when I needed more information, and they even helped support me emotionally when there was undue pressure from my buyer and their solicitor for a completion date when our onward was still not ready.
The sale of my flat was complex, involving challenges with the building landlords and management company, as well as a Help to Buy scheme. Meanwhile, the purchase of our house was frustratingly long due to outstanding enquiries for my seller's onward purchase. We ultimately ended up breaking the chain by proceeding with the sale and waiting for completion.
Despite feeling like there was a stumble at every hurdle, I received phenomenal guidance from both of them while they worked hard to keep the process moving as quickly as possible. Sometimes things were quiet, but whenever we asked, they always had progress updates or helped me understand what was left to do. That really helped my neurodiverse brain conceptualise the timeline, and it gave me great trust that they were working hard behind the scenes. Sometimes we felt like we were bugging them by chasing for updates, but I think that is a very common feeling when progress feels slow.
I am so thankful for these lovely ladies. I would gladly recommend them and use them again if I ever need solicitor services in the future!
