Poor quality dress

I ordered a dress and when it arrived it came in a very small package sella taped. Which at first sight was concerning. I tried on the dress it looked absolutely awful. The dress had no lining and my underwear could be seen whenever I walked. The quality was poor fabric was very thin. To make things worse I wanted to return the dress and they said I would have pay for shipping costs which was 15.00. The dress cost £52.00 so I would only get £38.00 refunded to my account which I am still waiting for. I feel like this company is a scam. The dress that I purchased looks nothing that was advertised.

Putting it down to experience as not going to try and send it back to China. I always avoid Chinese cheap deals if I can but was caught this time.

I bought accessories from Hensley London and the items themselves were fine - decent design and acceptable quality for the price. That said, the overall shopping experience was just average. There were delays in delivery, the customer service was slow to replay, and the return process seemed unnecessarily complicated. Nothing outright terrible happened, but nothing blew me away either.

Absolute rubbish.

Absolute rubbish.. nothing like the pictures, completely different material than stated.. complete con... money makers item cost £36 and got a so called goodwill gesture of 20% instead of sending it back to their china factory as it would cost to much for customs etc...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

The goodwill offer was exactly that, a goodwill offer. It wasn't instead of a return. Our returns process is published on the site and was available here.

Calling us a con isn't fair. We're a real business with real customers and a real product, and the reviews from people who've actually completed a return tell that story better than this one does.

Absolutely awful in every way

I don’t usually write reviews but the product I ordered was absolutely nothing like the picture, shocking quality, took ages to arrive and there’s no option to leave a review on your purchase so all the ones on their site must be fake! Do Not Buy! Returns are funded by the customer and have to be sent to China! They shouldn’t be allowed to advertise on places like Facebook where I found them

Should be zero stars

Should be zero stars. I bought a dress and when it arrived the quality was terrible. I contacted them about a return, filled out the online request and paid for the return. I returned it 4 days after I received it so they would have got it back well within the 30 day returns time frame. After emailing a ridiculous amount of times they then informed me because it had past the 30 days they will not refund. Beyond ridiculous customer service. The dress was returned within the time frame. The refund should have been processed.

One star is too high

One star is too high. The dress I ordered was made in China and poor quality. It cost £40.45. I tried to return it but discovered the return address is in Canada and it would cost £24. (Their Canadian address is now on their website!). The company offered me a refund of £30.45 but they have not paid it. Suggest you do not deal with this company - it is a scam.
8.10.25. Hensley just replied that they have refunded my money and been in touch. Neither is true. I have not heard from them at all.
