I am very disappointed with my experience with Hard Hat Watches Australia.
I purchased a watch in 2025 (Foreman), which stopped working. While the company did replace it free of charge (because of the warranty) in December 2025, the replacement watch also stopped working only a few months later in February 2026. This means that two watches failed within a relatively short period of time, without misuse or damage.
When I requested a refund due to repeated product failure, I was only offered a 50% discount on purchasing another Hard Hat product. I found this resolution unreasonable, as I do not feel confident purchasing a third product after having two watches stop working.
I appreciated the initial replacement, but ongoing product reliability issues and the lack of a proper refund or alternative solution have left me unsatisfied. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product or service based on my my experience.
My partners Hard Hat watch I brought about 2 years ago is still working (the square one)

Just wanna start by saying I would never have ordered this watch if I was to know it was coming from china, it’s advertised as an Australian company. The watch is still showing as in transit in Hong Kong and has been now for over a week I ordered the watch Wednesday 11th February and it stated 3-5 day delivery. The last update was it was in Hong Kio on the 16th February since then no tracking update I have reached out to the company who have apologised for the delay saying it’s in transit we’re now on day 9 and it’s still in Hong kio it’s a joke I wouldn’t even waste your time ordering from them although I
Did get a response from my email the communication is 0 no updates nothing!

Buyer Beware
Watch stopped working after three weeks. Cannot talk to anyone over the phone and emails were responded to slowly. Got the old "you need to expect some problems with Tech'... Not what Garmin, Apple would say. Did get a replacement watch, however not confident. Should have read the review by a guy in New Zealand. Leonard Funk - very in depth review. Would not have bought if I had seen this. I think you can buy these watches from Temu for about $30.00. Buyer Beware.

Avoid!!!! My husband Karl purchased a big rig watch... looks like a cheap Chinese copy. Didn't even get it out of the box. Postage shows it was shipped from London but to return it we have to pay to post it to Australia and there will be an additional administration fee!!! What a joke of a company.

Sorry to hear you feel that way — that’s definitely not the experience we want anyone to have.
Just to clarify, Hard Hat is an Australian-owned brand, and all returns/refunds are processed through our Australian warehouse, which is why returns are sent back to Australia. Also, since you are in the UK there are no administration fees.
Karl has already been in contact with our team and we’ve provided the return details, and I’ve also just followed up personally via email again today to help get this sorted as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Once the watch arrives back with us in unused condition, we’ll process the refund ASAP in line with our returns policy.

Lasted 13 months before battery can…
Lasted 13 months before battery can only last 10 minutes of a workout. They hide behind their warranty and ignore obligations under ACL. Just dodgy company selling a dog sh*t product. Avoid at all costs.
UPDATE: NOT INTERESTED IN 50% OFF ANOTHER DOG SHIT WATCH. JUST A MARKED UP ALI-EXPRESS. everyone should watch youtube reviews before buying, these watches exposed as ali express special with a 10x markup. They dont even have hard hat branding. Hardhat is just a drop seller. Package comes direct from China. Dodgy and misleading.

Still haven’t received my order
I have now received my watch and have to say I’m extremely happy with it still working out all the bits and bobs if anyone knows how to get message notifications through the watch that would be much appreciate, watch arrived with 70% charge and it’s now Sunday and it’s sitting comfortably at 40% very happy with this so far

The battery does not last more than 3 days and the heart rate monitor is no where near what your heart rate is. There is no apps to download not the watch I was hopping for

Sorry to hear the battery life and heart rate monitor haven’t met expectations — battery performance can vary depending on brightness, notifications, call usage, and health tracking settings, but 3 days definitely isn’t ideal if it’s being used normally.
In terms of apps, the watch uses the companion app for syncing and settings, but I understand it can be disappointing if you were expecting downloadable apps directly on the watch.

I am on my 3rd watch
I am on my 3rd watch. worn less than 3 days and the strap has pulled out of the body of the watch when getting out of a roller, got in touch with them and they say it's out of warranty and only will offer a discount code on a new watch.
Not impressed with the quality of the product, when I work with heavy machinery and the website says the watch is durable which it is not. below is what their website says:

Very disappointed with the service from Hard Hat Watches. My order was shipped via Cainiao (Belgium) SRL, which is a subsidiary of Alibaba’s logistics arm—something that was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
Shipping was slow and overall service quality matched what many people already know about Cainiao/Alibaba logistics: poor communication and unreliable delivery standards. This does not align with the brand image Hard Hat Watches tries to present.
For the price paid, I expected better transparency, faster shipping, and higher service quality. Unfortunately, the experience felt misleading and not worth the cost. I would not recommend this company based on my experience

Like many brands, we use a range of international logistics partners depending on the destination and shipping lane, and in some cases that can include Cainiao as part of the courier network.

Broken within 12 months.
got given this watch for Christmas 2024, it worked well for what it is, clearly an Asian supplied product.
the app was average at best and not proprietary to hard hat in any way shape or form, in-fact nothing other than the packaging is labelled as hard hat.
fast forward through 2025, a few times it wouldn't charge but I always seemed to get it to work after playing with the connection and plug, to be honest I maybe wore it for 3-6 months total as I use a more business aesthetic watch day to day. By Nov 2025 I drew the line as I could no longer get the watch to charge, my fault for not mentioning the charge issue when it first arose. The band snapped earlier in the year which was easy enough to replace from AliExpress.
I contacted Hardhat with my charging issue in Jan 2026 to which they claimed warranty was only for 6 months and offered a 50% discount on a replacement.
Now, im completely ok with the fact the warranty had expired however this watch is currently marked down from $249.99 to 139.95 so at best a replacement will cost me $69.97.
note: this is labelled as a "tough as nails" watch, many videos showing them testing this can be found online, amazing that some sweat can ruin its ability to function.
This watch (c20 pro smart watch) retails for around $30 on AliExpress (identical watch) I'm dumbfounded as to the support team at Hardhat offering a replacement at a marked up value, if they offered it at cost id probably just pay it as it was handy for the gym and weekend use. after this interaction and the poor customer service and lack of ownership to the product you sell, ill just go straight to the source for the latest version.
buyer be ware, their watches are all available on AliExpress you will likely receive better service from the Chinese sellers as well.
