From the journey to Turkey and arriving to the airport to get picked up and taken to the hospital the staff were very friendly. During the whole stay we were made comfortable by the nurse and doctors as well as constantly advised and checked up by Ece and Onur. The surgeon him self was kind and humble he would talk to you and answer any questions even the silly ones. He would make sure everything and everyone was happy to proceed with the surgery. Onur and Ece were double help thorough out the whole process they would check up on me and answer any questions that we would for need to know very fast.

Hi I'm penny I had a gastric sleeve done by viamedus on the 1st of July 2022. I just want to say thank you, I am 7 stone down now writing this and my life has changed do much for the better. I had a mini gastric bypass done in May 2022 with Dr Hanifi and I cannot recommend him enough. My surgery went perfectly my scars are very neat and minimal, aftercare post surgery was great I felt very safe and reassured during the whole process, even months after surgery if I needed anything Dr Hanifi answered personally and very quickly. I am now 10 months post op my health has improved massively thanks to the weight loss and I really have been given a new lease of life and I cannot thank Dr Hanifi enough for that. If you’re considering having surgery I would highly recommend Dr Hanifi.

I had my surgery 2 years ago today and the treatment I received was 1st class. Dr Hanifi is a fantastic surgeon and I'm more than happy with my results. would highly be recommended anyone thinking of gastric surgery to look no further that this surgeon. 5* .

I had a gastric sleeve with Dr Hanifi in May 2022.
From start to finish, I felt like I was in good hands.
I had lots of tests to make sure I was fit for surgery to begin with, then everything was explained to me.
I had my surgery and stayed in hospital for 3 nights and 4 days and then discharged back to my hotel for a further 3 nights.
I needed my wounds looking at whilst I was at the hotel and they sent a car to come and collect me and take me back to the hospital to come and clean them up and then took me back - nothing was too much trouble.
I am not 35kg lighter and my only regret is not doing this much sooner.

Dr Hanifi performed my Gastric Sleeve Surgery in 2022. He was fantastic. He was so kind and caring and has continued to be since my procedure was completed. An amazing experience from start to finish. After doing alot of research and getting stung by one company. Dr Hanifi was recommended. I contacted him directly (which is important when booking surgery abroad) your surgeon should be accessible and he is. He responded promptly and put me in touch with Ece who is an absolute darling. Not once was I pushed for deposit (like a lot of other companies) I was able to have a lengthy video call with Dr Hanifi about my surgery and he put my mind at rest. At no point was I pushed for money and Ece was so patient with my endless questions and concerns. Flights booked, again it was not a problem for them I had to travel to a further airport from them as that was the only flight I could get. Not a problem. Picked up from airport with clear instruction: met Onur at the hospital who could sense my nerves but immediately put me at ease. Had blood tests and thorough examinations: Met with Dr Hanifi the following day, he was warm welcoming and just has such a positive reassuring aura about him. Surgery was a breeze. Woken up by nurses some time later. Obviously a bit sore, nurses were great. It can feel at times they take a while to respond but all medication and liquids are perfectly timed. I spent 5 nights in hospital and 2 nights in hotel with option of staying longer in hotel if needed: Onur even bought me my own wifi box so I could watch movies and stay connected with my family with ease. My welfare and recovery was priority at all times. Lengthy meet with a dietrician to ensure I was happy with everything, gave me her mobile number to contact her anytime: I have left feeling great and also have a months worth of shakes, vitamins, meds I need to ensure a speedy recovery. The reassurance of knowing that at any time of day I can contact Dr Hanifi, Ece or Onur with any concerns and they will respond with only my welfare in mind.
Tips, take an extra long charging cable.
Download lots of movies.
Walk lots when they tell you.
Drink as much water as humanly possible prior to your cut off for surgery. It feels like an age you can’t drink for but if you are well hydrated to begin with it’s better.
You will need toiletries for the hospital.
Take slippers.
Everything else they have thought of and you won’t look me back.

I was very nervous, but when I got there everyone was lovely. The hospital was very good. The staff were wonderful and they took care of everything. I would highly recommend.
