The instructions could have been a lot clearer but the customer service brilliant

Truly the worst build experience I’ve ever had. Hating every minute of this! Instructions are incredibly poor. Missing steps, shocking graphics, bits in the wrong order. Online instructions are marginally better but I can only presume Stevie Wonder wrote these. No excuse in 2026 when customers are bemoaning the quality of instructions and no body has clearly quality tested these. I won’t be purchasing another from here that’s for sure.

Bought a 6x4 greenhouse, the instruction booklet is completely useless, diagrams are awful, and not relevant to the size of the gh i purchased, the online instructions are the exact same as the paper booklet and even thpugh they are much bolder & clearer, they are no easier to follow than the paper one, all the diagrams need to show the whole section you are assembling not just the connecting corners, that tells you nothing! I feel a small tool could be supplied for the square headed screws, the screws and nuts are way too fiddly and almost impossible to tighten in corners of the frame, I would have paid for installation but the greenhouse was £432 & the installation charge was £370!!! almost as much as the greenhouse, therfore I opted to put it together myself, big regret! (I was not prepared to pay that price for installation) I have finally put it up, it took me approx 5 days! and most of it was guesswork as instructions (even the online ones) just tell you nothing and are so difficult to follow, even the halls you tube tutorial does not show enough of the construction, just short clips, i feel the glass could be labeled with lettering/stickers on the actual panes rather than a sticker on the cardboard pack, the stickers got sun faded from being outdoors or the front of the packaging with the content stickers on blew across my garden in the wind leaving me clueless as to what the sizes the panes were without measuring them.
The build from start to finish caused me much stress, even helpers struggled to figure out the instructions/the build, I never want to put another greenhouse together in my life!!!

Really pleased with the greenhouse, the instructions could be slightly clearer maybe. I would say though that Rachel was so helpful with a slight issue we had, quick to respond and helpful.

I was given a delivery timescale and rang them to say I was on holiday the last week of the time range. I asked for delivery before or I wouldn’t even mind waiting until the week after I was back. Told they'd put a note on the system. 3 weeks later I get a text advising a delivery date of first day I was away!!! I called immediately to be told I'd have to wait another 4 weeks FOUR WEEKS after my initial delivery slot for something I'd already spoken to them about and was advised it had been sorted out!! Finally got a delivery date and when the lovely driver arrived, I told him about the shocking experience and he advised me that the delivery firm don't see the notes on the part of the system they put it on BUT to make it WORSE they've advised them of this on numerous occasions and nothing has been dome about it!!
Then the instructions were not very good at all, very difficultto follow a lot of the diagrams were quite ambiguous.
THIRDLY one of the side windows didn't fit and could not be held in by the clips so we've had to put tape over to hold it in!! Not something you'd expect when paying over £500 for a greenhouse!!
Seriously not a good experience from start to finish!!

The greenhouse itself is lovely, BUT the instructions for the assembly are appalling, we are 5 days post delivery and still trying to get this made up. I am lost for words with regard to the instructions.

Quality greenhouse.Built and glazed in under two days, instructions adequate, it was problem free. Customer services are brilliant with support and advice when extra help is needed, in my case with compatible accessories. No hesitation to recommend Halls, delighted with my beautiful greenhouse.

We had excellent service when we purchased our green house. Rachel was extremely helpful when we rang for extra support whilst putting the greenhouse up. That was last year. Unfortunately the wind manage to blow our roof vent last week, It was extremely windy. I wrote an email and the following day it was answered and a vent ordered. Such prompt friendly service even a year or so after the green house was purchased.

I spoke with Halls several times before placing my order as I was so unsure what size and model to buy. The before care as in helping me purchase their product was outstanding; its what service came after! My magnum was delivered and I paid for their third party installer. My installer Rob and Bobby was outstanding, professional, friendly and was really pleased with the end result. Then, it rained!! Water was leaking into the greenhouse on all four corners. I rang Halls and asked if the greenhouse should be watertight, I was met with a very rude response, 'its a horticultural greenhouse, it not going to be waterproof, especially at that price point'. Well, at 'that price point' I spent 1.6k approx on the greenhouse and installation and a further 3k on the footings1 I had saved for my greenhouse and was so excited, so her rude response was not what i was expecting! I enquired why there were no stop ends on the gutter channel, to be told 'you have to buy those separately'. At no point in all my research phone calls to Halls, did 1, anyone tell me that my greenhouse would not be watertight, and 2 I would need to purchase specific guttering attachments. So i placed my order for their guttering attachments. I have been left feeling disappointed so what with her response, especially as I have been saving and planning my greenhouse project for so long. I do hope our conversation was recorded for training purposes so maybe they could use it to train customer services to be more receptive on the telephone with aftercare!

My son bought my wife a Wall Garden for Christmas. It has been a nightmare to construct. The instructions are just line drawing that are almost meaningless it has taken hours to build .Halls should get some instruction writing help from IKEA. The last 6x8 greenhouse I built was from Crittal and only took half a day clear well laid out instructions with a parts list. Never again!!

Nothing was to much, I'm so happy my greenhouse is esthetically pleasing.

Outstanding service. Greenhouse is well made and even though quite difficult to work out how to put together. Giant Meccano set! It is well worth the effort. Couldn't be more pleased with it. Need to speak with company about window latch and it was dealt with immediately.

Quality greenhouse frame, but do not buy the polycarbon windows with metal clips they keep blowing out. Not covered under warranty. We live in a sheltered location, not exposed to serious winds... Not much help from customer service!

The quality was good. I had the green 8 x 6 model and it looks really fine. Assembly was ok, instructions clear and didn't take too long to get together.
I would recommend.

I purchased a wall mounted greenhouse with a base and tempered glass. The quality was excellent and although it took some time to erect the final result was very pleasing and looks really good in the garden

Halls Greenhouse 10 x 8 6mm Polyhedrane glass Difficult to build the instructions cover far to many models, diagrams are insufficient and the glass seal strip is horrendous to put on. Once constructed the Greenhouse does seem very stable and secure

Everything previous reviewers have said about the truly dreadful instruction leaflet are true. I have built log cabins from scratch and I would do that again any day than try and work out how to assemble a 6 x 10 Juliana greenhouse from the leaflet provided. I notice that most positive reviews refer to the assistance given - so assume that most people have resorted to asking form help. Now that it's up, the greenhouse looks great.
