A really welcoming experience. Dr Amy provided first-rate guidance and sensitivity, and is continuing to support me following an in-depth initial consultation.

I really wish I had seen this brilliant hair specialist earlier. The whole experience was so reassuring and empowering especially getting a diagnosis and knowing there are treatment options out there that work. Everything is explained so clearly and all your questions are answered.

Dr Amy and I did a deep dive into my family history, medical history, diet , lifestyle and more. It was very thorough and helped build a picture of what was required going forward. She listened to me and understood my level of knowledge to know what to inform me on whilst giving me the time and space I needed to discuss and understand.

Within the first few minutes of meeting Dr Amy, I felt at ease and comfortable and confident I was with the right person to help with my hair loss issues. Together we explored a holistic review of my health linked to hair thinning . I had my full blood results from my GP ready and pictures of vitamins I take which allowed Dr Amy to review and explain what these meant to my hair journey in so much more details than I had known . Her medical expertise as a doctor, added to her passion for hair, was a perfect cocktail to feeling confident we could find a plan to help .

She was very patient , kind and informative . I am looking forward to making a few changes to my routines , introducing new treatments to gain positive results in around 6 months time . Fingers crossed x

I had a great consultation with Dr Amy and came out reassured and relieved. I was very worried about my hair loss and scalp irritation: these symptoms are often dismissed by health professionals as they are not deemed serious enough. I wanted to see an actual doctor who can offer advice holistically rather than someone who has a certification/training solely focused on"off the shelf"hair loss remedies.
During my consultation, the doctor patiently listened to all of my concerns, and asked lots of questions. I saw Dr Amy at the Hair Gp and am so pleased I did, she’s extremely knowledgeable about everything hair and as a NHS GP is a great person to see as she is focusing on your full health and how to help. The advice and treatment options she has suggested for me are fantastic and I can’t wait to get started and hopefully see some hair growth. She is not trying to just make money from you like some other company’s that I have been to. She has suggested many things I can use over the counter and that makes it very affordable. I wish I had known about the hair GP earlier and I had to hold back from literally crying as I feel listened to for the first time. If you are thinking about going to see the hair GP I suggest 100% do it you will not be disappointed.

Dr Amy Vowler was exceptional. Made me feel incredibly at ease and comfortable. Had a long in depth discussion about all of my daily habits and medical history and what I had been experienced. Brilliant experience - this is what all healthcare should look like. Dr Amy truly listened and focussed on the person in front of her. So empathetic, kind and truly knowledgeable. I was very nervous heading to the appointment but Dr. Amy was so incredibly understanding. She listened to me. She answered all my questions thoroughly and in turn asked me lots of questions. She has given me a clear plan of action and reassured me that there is stuff that we can do to improve my situation. Absolutely blown away by Dr Amy at the hair GP. What a kind and caring lady! She let me cry, listened to my history and made me feel understood and heard. She checked my scalp and hair balls I had taken in and gave me an action plan to fight my hair loss. I'm 35 and been through scary surgery and hormonal changes and she gave me hope back.
